“Really good experience here, wasn’t sure what was wrong with my car but the staff were super helpful and diagnosed the issue really quickly, thank you Hattie and Rick, both really friendly and helpful.”

“Today, I purchased an air fryer and a microwave from this store. The lady assistant who helped me was so good, she even fetched one of their largest dinner plates from the shop shelf, to see if it fitted in the microwave for me. Nothing was to much trouble for her. She is an excellent person to be working there.”

“Definitely worth coming to these types of places if you actually want advice on the best products to use for the job. The chap in this branch was honest and clearly not trying to be a salesman, which I appreciate. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I discovered they were selling a range of varnish for around £25 more than all the other chains (luckily not the one I bought). A blatant ripoff, unless of course this is a mistake. The customer service rep on twitter seemed to be happy to match the price but this, to be honest, has left a sour taste in my mouth. This feels like disingenuous behaviour to me and I’m now going to be careful to price check before buying anything else to ensure it’s not more than a reasonable amount more than the bigger chains.”

“Nice big store clean and fresh good selection of clothes and good value. Big downside they had one cashier on to do sales and returns I felt very sorry for her we were waiting in a queue for 15 mins because we wanted to pay cash and be served . I do not want to use self service I like to have someone to talk to and help with goods . Self service is not the way forward . Very short staffed alot of clients complaining also to a man who was checking on your store”

“It’s a shame that stores have to occupy space in other peoples shops nowadays. This one is in a Robert Dyas. It’s ok but I think the range they sell is much reduced because of the space they have. Prices were good. I’d far rather visit this store in its own right. There’s plenty of empty units in the centre.”

“Love this shop. Has a bit of everything and at good prices too. On this visit it was for gardening supplies which we easily found in the garden section outside. Find it a cheaper alternative to b n q.”
