I had a chip on my windshield repaired by two charming, efficient members of staff who explained clearly what they were doing and any possible problems (which didn't occur). The service cost me £45.00, compared with the £75.00 call-out firm, which failed to turn up on the day and time agreed. Excellent service from my first contact ? someone from the store called within 1/2 an hour of my email enquiry. Highly recommended.

My partner was charged £10 to change the inner tubes (recently purchased in store) on our buggy It?s a straightforward task, but she didn?t have the tools with her. Rather than offering a quick bit of help, staff insisted it was a ?complicated job? (it?s not), were dismissive when she said otherwise, and the whole interaction carried a patronising tone, bordering on misogynistic.
It would?ve taken two minutes to help, made her day easier, and left a much better impression. Small moments like this matter especially for a brand built on being helpful.

I wanted somebody to supply and fit number plates to my car. I contacted three firms including Halfords for quotes and Halfords were the cheapest by someway, especially after I got a £5 discount for being a Motoring Club member. I paid online, visited the store and the job was done in minutes. Great service!
