I really like this Costa. It's far better than all the other Costa's I go to. Service always friendly and if it is delayed due to the level of trade they apologise. Clean, coffee always good and all the staff I've encountered, even ones in training are always polite.

Despite being extremely busy Karen (on the till) and Tiffany (making drinks) were very friendly and chatty. They got my order together quickly and the café was clean and well kept.

My daughter desperately needed the toilet today and went to ask where this was. The blonde lady at the counter said she doesn't know. When confronted, she said my daughter "didn't specifically say OUR TOILET" but she just asked for the toilet. So, next time I need to teach her to be more specific when she is asking for something. Needless to say my daughter was almost in tears when we left. And noticed the blonde lady rolling over her eyes whilst explaining to another customer how inappropriate my daughter's behaviour was. I have been here several times for coffee and cake but never coming back. The lady at the counter had an accent-nothing to do with anything, I also have an accent, but just to make her easier to recognise in case she does this to someone else. She obviously was not having a great day but no need to lash out at a young girl. Very unprofessional and rude.

I came into this coffee shop with a friend yesterday, I was served by a woman called Tamara, she was quite probably the rudest person I?ve ever encountered, my friend & I were horrified by the way she spoke to us, she either needs customer service training or place her away from customers.
I have to say that the other member of staff was lovely.

Great chain coffee shop with helpful staff that serves standard Costa products. Right in the center of Fryern Arcade & has outside seating area.
