Needed some offset ring spanners, despite 2 branches of Halfords saying they had them, I stopped at B&Q and they had a cheap set in stock.
Despite having one arm in a sling the till operator managed very well with a good sense of humour too.

Popped in with my kids to grab some things for my diy project. I had 5 things I needed to get, but ended up only being able to purchase 2! I was told I need to be 18 (I am much older than 18) to get the other bits. Unfortunately, I didn?t have any ID on me, but I did have two kids with me, which you?d think would suggest I am over 18! One of the things I wasn?t allowed to buy was a plastic scraper!! So ridiculous. I?ll go to Wickes or Screwfix next time.

Bloody typical B&Q terrible staff totally uninterested in customers. 20 people in queue & only 1 till open - get told to go to 'trade counter' take the ticket for a power tool for use in my business only to be told he 'can't get this for me' & I'd need to go to another area, presumably because he's not old enough to get it for us. Then has cheek to ask us if we're 'trade customers' Ha ! like I'm gonna take my main trade here. Piss poor service, which is exactly what I've come to expect from B&Q Eastleigh. Only gave 1 starters as I couldn't give zero stars

We went in yesterday - bank holiday Monday . Made a walk-in dressing room and had 9ft wall to wall sliding doors for the entry and found we needed some thick strong long length wood to use for the bottom track to go on . After searching around to no avail what would be the best we was greeted by Ewan and Katie who helped search the right product they were upbeat and extremely helpful and professional obviously love their job which is no nice to see in a customer facing role . They then took us to James so could help cut it down so we could get into the car . Well done to all three who helped us finish the job looking fabulous and more importantly it's secure as the long length of mirrored doors are heavy . I hope they get recognised for being a credit to b&q in Eastleigh ??? thank you !
