So utterly useless. Bought wooden gate, got wooden door 6mm thick. Couldn't return as they wash their hands of their "verified sellers". Had to go to bank to get money back. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

B&Q has lost it reputation in all sense. Staff are rude and ignorant towards customers. Market place items are just a nightmare to return, customer service on the phone are absolutely usless. Avoid this company.

Bought a bathroom from B&Q The sink didn't fit the B&Q fittings trap/waste , door hinges were missing, inserts for the legs of the cabinet were missing. There were many things that were wrong with the sale from the off. I really wouldn't recommend.

I ordered a set of steps, and received a single piece of wood! I was really surprised at how poor the customer service was, I initially messaged on chat and was told the matter would be escalated and I'd receive a call back in 48 hours. A week later, I chased up and was told it would be escalated. After two weeks having not heard anything from them, I filed a claim with Paypal. Rather than phoning back to resolve the matter, they appear to the fighting the claim.
Almost two months after paying them £116 for something they haven't delivered, I'm still out of pocket.
I have CCTV showing the incorrect item being delivered, yet they still haven't contacted me to discuss the issue. Just incredible how bad dealing with them is!
Photo shows what was ordered, and what they delivered! Can't really walk up a piece of wood...

Bought a kitchen sink online came damaged contacted customer services and was told I would receive a text within 48 to 72 hours with a delivery date for a replacement, waited but heard nothing so phoned again and was told they were having problems with the warehouse but they wold prioritise a replacement and i would receive a text within 24 to 48 hours with a delivery date. In the meantime I have this huge box taking up space in my hallway. Still waiting almost a week later! Will ring again today for a refund or will then pass to PayPal to get my money back. Looking at reporting to trading standards too. Will never buy from them again and I have spent a lot of money over the years here, plenty of other places to do business with

While in B&Q store in Drumchapel today where I found staff very cheeky and when I was insulted by a young man and we got into an argument I was surrounded by at least 10 staff members who were trying to order me about telling me don?t raise your voice to staff don?t point at staff and a boy standing behind me filming me as a 78 year old man I felt very threatened and I kept saying watch the film on your camera and see your worker bringing me down shouting very loudly ? I told him but he doesn?t understand? I kept getting ushered from one till to another, I would like a copy of the film as I?m seriously thinking of going to a lawyer about this fiasco that caused me, when I got home to have an agina attack and had to go to my bed

I was overcharged for a number of products I purchased in store from B&Q. I did not realise until I'd arrived home that they had over charged me. I have tried telephoning the store several times - nobody ever answers. I have contacted customers services 7 times so far but I only ever got fobbed off with scripted responses. I want a refund for the overcharge, surely that is not too much to ask?

shocking service. rang to tell them that an item was missing from a delivered order, told someone would contact me within 24 hrs, did not happen so rang again and was told the same story. No one has called, still waiting for the item which I have already paid for.
company not interested once they have your money, will tell everyone to avoid purchasing from them

Absolutely shocking service from B&Q ordered a kitchen worktop on the 6th May but due to B&Qs terrible delivery service the earliest I could get it was the 17th. I took the day off work to be home as they only give you a time of delivery the day before. The 17th arrives and lo and behold they deliver the wrong worktop.
Immediately contacted B&Q only to be told I?d have to wait a few hours to be called to sort a replacement delivery out. Waited days still no call. I had to live chat customer services only to be told the next date for a re delivery was the 31st. Can you imagine waiting so long for a company to rectify THEIR mistake. Absolute jokers. I opened a complaint as I didn?t want to wait that long nor take off ANOTHER day from work. Now I get an email stating the delivery will be the 6th June.
A shocking service from B&Q I will no longer be shopping there and word will get around.
