More 3.5 than 3. Stopped on route to the ferry. Location very good, just 60 seconds off the dual carriageway, plenty of parking and pleasant place to sit and relax. Staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Lower rating is due to food. Both my wife and I had their salads (she had the chicken & I had the veggie option)... read full comment

Fantastic location. Heading south for that trip away from Portsmouth early morning? Well, the Hog is your place to stay for dinner, 40 winks and breakfast. Fantastic bedrooms, and you can even bring the dog! Lovingly thought out. Will be back.
