Usually good food here, but for some reason my chicken doner kebab was made without any salad, even though I asked them if it had salad.

I cannot begin to describe how disappointing the kebab was. Portion size was decent, but the meat was dry as cardboard, and tasted more like some salted jerky than doner meat. Awful. Just awful.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. The food is absolutely abhorrent to the point that it shouldn't have even graced this planet in the first place. The only thing good about this place is the fact that they serve strawberry Mirinda, thats it.
If you want a kebab or something similar, go to cowplain kebab house, they're great at what they do and its honestly one of the best kebab houses out there.

Ordered from here for the first time and the last! I swear the meatballs on the pizza were made of either dog or cat food, it tasted vile. The kebab well I'm not sure what meat that was but it tasted funny and I'm willing to bet those chips were cooked in dirty old oil and undercooked.
Rang restaurant to tell them to be told they've never had a bad review and told me he'll screenshot my address!! What's that mean?? A threat? I think they should look on their reviews, I wish I did before ordering.. Honestly cook some beans on toast at least it will be edible and you know what you're eating. Vile, disgusting food...
Currently waiting for them to come collect what they sent as I don't want to contaminate my bin... 0/10...

This place is generally good tasting food and a great deal, honestly I keep trying to make getting other local takeaways worth it and they just aren't. For a good quality, lower price takeaway they are the best in the area. Plus the owner is a nice guy who has good rapport with his regulars.
The only downside is that they will often present the food in a not quite optimal way, for instance without asking otherwise they will put the salad on top of a burger, not below it as is clearly correct. If you ask it different, they will do it, but it does feel like asking makes you a fussy customer, which it shouldn't.
Still, best value takeaway in the area with nice service.

Idk what they changed but years ago it was rank undercooked chicken filet burger ect I recently ordered again to try it out you never know they might change and omg the Ken?s special belly buster chicken burger was amazing I?m definitely buying again it even burned my mouth they have either changed staff or stepped up idk about kebabs or pizzas since I?ve always ordered chicken filet from them the gut buster my god was it amazing extra large chicken filet and egg with chicken kebab on top idc about bad reviews this company in cowplain has definitely turned things around with some foods I?ll try kebab next time although it will be difficult cause their chicken filet gut buster was so nice but i definitely think they have turned a new page give them a try again

Whenever I go to Lovedean I usually go to Ken's. The food is good and reasonably priced and the staff are always polite and helpful.

Should be investigated. They rarely change the cooking oil so it's black like tar. Avoid!

You know you look at the photos of the food, and you think wow looks awesome ?In reality, it's a different story. The chicken was that greasy, and I could have re fried it at home. Maybe I should have done as the meat was pink and cold on the inside. The pizza wasn't too bad, but the doner kebab come on just like eating old leather no flavour no spices but at least it was hotNever going bk again.
