15/09/24. I am 8 months pregnant and I was traveling back with my partner and stopped at the shell garage to go to the toilet. It was 3am in the morning and the guy in the garage refused to open the door to allow me to use the facilities despite me telling him I?m heavily pregnant. His response was ?doors don?t open until 5am?.
I then stated to him that ?it says 24hrs!?, ?I?ll just piss myself shall I?? To which he closed the hatch and ignored me.
I was extremely distressed by this as he could clearly see I was pregnant and he refused to allow me to use the facilities.

Stopped off here today on the way to Devon, all chargers are working and very easy to use. Did cost to much to use 49p per kwh. There is seating and even a vending machine. Very clean and tidy, There is also a small waitrose in the petrol station. Highly recommend using if you need to charge and have a pit stop.

Turned up today and tried to use the electric pump and it was off. Noticing it said on the handle scan qr to start charging I assumed it was just cost saving and that they go on standby whilst not in use. Scanned the qr code it said it was available and started to ask me if I want to pay via direct payment or download the app so I chose direct payment. It took £30.00 then said this is out of service ? go figure. Disputed it with the bank anyways just because you shouldn't be taking payments and quoting available when it is not. I take 60% of the blame since the display was off and I was getting a bad feeling. But charging people for a service when it isn't even available it just creates an annoying situation

Disgusting disabled toilet and baby changing WC. You could not take a baby in there. Obviously had not been cleaned for some time and no cleaning rota on display. I reported it to the cashier who just looked blankly at me and did nothing. I think Waitrose would be very concerned that their food offering is close to a such a mess !

Really well laid out, decent charging speed, shop on site with clean WCs. Grabbed a Costa Mocha and waited for enough charge to get me home. Happy bunny
