“Usual Caravan club site, though the staff here are ultra friendly so top marks there. Some distance from the nearby village of Brockenhurst so either 40 min walk or 10 min drive. Surrounded by open heath and woodland with wild horses and donkeys abound. Visiting food vans throughout the week with variety of meals for those too tired to cook. New-ish site with hedges still young and small. Other 'guests' not as chatty as on other sites, wealthier demographic judging by the number of posh vehicles.”

“I visited here on my Silver Dofe expedition. I really enjoyed the stay here especially as there was a great volleyball court and the scout activity centre had high quality showers. However we stayed in location 21 and the surface we slept on was not the most comfortable I have seen yet. Also the long path outside which leads into the Campsite has a very nice view and is a great walk.”

“The food was excellent - delicious classics at brilliant prices and with a good range of drinks to go with it.We had the trout, pies, and a chicken schnitzel. All very well cooked, seasoned, freshly made and good-sized portions! There was a wonderful atmosphere in the pub with a roaring fire, and our service from Gemma was brilliant.This will be our new forest go-to.Walkability: A relatively short walk from Brockenhurst, and plenty of routes nearby to explore the forestFood & drinks: Superb. Well worth the visit”
