On arrival the staff were very helpful and asked if we would prefer to sit inside or outside. We sat inside, which was nice as we had our dog with us and some places prefer you sit outside if you bring a dog. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious and well presented. It was also reasonably prized. The whole experience was enjoyable and the dog loved his ice cream.

Stopped off for an early dinner,lovely location food was good but pricy for what it was, but service initially was warm and friendly then became non existent we even had to clear our own table to hint that we wanted service. When the bill came I made the mistake of just paying it and not realising they had charged a service fee, cheeky, probably won't go back there, shame

Absolutely fantastic place to visit. Excellent service to table and in a group this is priceless. Lovely looking pub outside and in along side being practical for older and disabled customers-lots of parking with space. We had a lovely meal and drinks and I would highly recommend to anyone I know. Excellent place that I will go to as a destination rather than a stop off next time. Lovely spot to visit the New Forest or Solent!

Popped in for lunch. The menu was so inspiring it was hard to choose! I ordered the lamb which was absolutely delicious! The staff are friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly too, we will definitely visit again.

Popped in for lunch before a dog walk in Roydon Woods. A welcoming atmosphere, well stocked bar and delicious food. The staff are friendly and witty.

Mediocre at best.
We came here after staying locally for the PIG brewery (amazing!) but came for dinner at the Filly (not so amazing!).
The staff were poor at best, appauling service, left in the corner to order everything at the bar despite apparent table-service which we were later charged 12.5% for and a long wait for small portions of food that we could have made better at home.
For all the places you could eat in and around Brockenhurst, put this at the bottom of the list.
