Just returned from a one night stay and overall conclusion it was a lovely experience for the following reasons; Staff were welcoming and attentive. Customers services provided from reception, spa, to dinner in the lounge was excellent. The chocolate and card for the birthday celebrant placed in the room provided a personal and thoughtful touch. The Afternoon team at the Cambium and its settings was relaxing, underpinned by attentive staff. The chicken quinoa salad we had for dinner, from the all day menu, was one of the best we've had - a shout out to the Chef. The spa treatment was heavenly loved by the birthday celebrant - a big thanks for making it a memorable experience. The facilities- pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna provided extra relaxation to a lovely weekend. If l had to provide any feedback it will for the hot breakfast option to be included as part of the breakfast buffet offer. Paying separately for this seemed an unnecessary and extra expense. Will I recommend to family and friends? Yes l would.

The most incredible experience, staff, facilities, cleaning. All 5 star. The spa was one of the best I have ever been to. Lunch in the tai restaurant was most relaxing. Thank you for a stay to remember! Will come back next year with the whole family !

My husband and I had not managed a return visit to Careys Manor Hotel since our Daughter?s Marriage Ceremony and Wedding Celebrations in November 2004 until our recent visit this month. We have very happy memories of that day in 2004 when the weather was perfect for photographs in the beautiful garden and in front of the stunning Manor House main building. Our three night visit this month was just as good, staying in a Garden Room with a view of and access to the secluded rear garden. It was so peaceful. The breakfast was a really welcome start to the day and the food was all of high quality produce. The staff were all wonderful, helpful, friendly and polite. We hope to be able to return for another stay at Careys Manor in the Spring.

Booked in for 2 course lunch and Spa afternoon with my husband and it was bliss! Lunch was delicious, the Chicken Pad Thai was particularly good. Staff were lovely, attentive and professional as always - facilities were pristine. Particularly appreciate the Senspa branded toiletries in the changing area - leaving smelling and feeling amazing.

Just stayed for my 40th birthday. We have stayed in 3 high end name hotels this past month and this by far for us was our favourite from friendly staff greeting us upon check in (Sophia) was bubbly friendly and so helpful to the spa making sure everything was as we wanted it . I had one if the very best massages from a wonderful lady called Neum I actually fell asleep .We paid a supplement to go into the wellness spa which was well worth it giving us 2 hours of heaven .a cream Tea in the Cambrian restaurant and where given extra if required and again not rushed but staff were very attentive..Then onto the zen restaurant for Thai dinner . Staff were wonderful food amazing . We didn?t feel rushed at all . It was my birthday so they bought us over a glass of bubbles . Breakfast in bed was ordered the night before and all was perfect . Very easy to order via QR code but can call it through . Our room was clean spacious and chocolate and balloon on arrival. Bed was so comfy . We had room 5 ..I would recommend it . We will be back

Stayed here while I was working cover in another store of my company and it was amazing! The room was beautiful with plenty of room and a lovely relaxing balcony with view to the garden. The Senspa's steam room and jacuzzi was just the ticket after a day at work. The continental breakfast was included in the room rate and it was delicious with so much variety! And the cooked breakfast options looked tempting with not too big an extra price. The hotel has 2 restaurants and room service, I went to the French restaurant and the duck comfit was to die for, fell straight off the bone it was so soft! As for the staff, they couldn't be more helpful and accommodating; the first morning I had a nightmare trying to get hold of an uber or taxi to get to work because the train strikes were on and the buses were infrequent; I went to the reception to ask for help and the receptionist got me a taxi booked immediately that arrived within 5mins and got me to work in no time - they really looked after me I can't wait to come back here with my partner for a longer stay and get to explore around brokenhurst and Lymington area instead of just work ?

This is one of, if not, THE best hotel we have ever stayed at. Initially I spoke with the Operations Manager, Hannah Mason, who was extremely helpful, polite, professional and efficient. Hannah took details of our booking and was kind, patient and understanding of what we wanted regarding our stay at Careys which was a totally relaxing break in lovely surroundings to celebrate our 31st Wedding Anniversary. On arrival we were delighted with how beautiful the building itself looks and that it is so well maintained. Lots of character and exceptionally clean throughout. From the moment we made first contact until we left we could not fault it, they gave us a memorable, relaxing break. Stephen was really helpful and carried our bags to our room. On Reception we were greeted by Elizabeth and Hassine who were also so helpful and lovely. Food was exceptional we enjoyed breakfast in the Cambium restaurant serving a fabulous and freshly coked breakfast as well as full continental and so much choice. Fresh fruit salad, plenty of meats to choose as well as vegetarian & gluten free options. The staff here are, again, incredibly helpful and lovely to deal with. Emese is the Breakfast Manager and together with her team of Daisy, Rosie, Moat, Katie and Ming looked after us and, we noticed, all the other guests incredibly well. They have three different restaurants for evening meals but we opted for the Zen which is a Thai restaurant and are so glad we did. They serve absolutely gorgeous, authentic food, so much so that we actually changed our plans and went there two night's running. Thanks to Tik, the Zen Manager, Mink the Assistant Manager and all the staff as they made our evening meals with them very special with incredibly tasty food and wonderful service. We did have a dessert from the Cambium and Daniel brought that up to our room as we opted for a room service. Daniel was so polite, professional and helpful. The Hotel also has a Spa which looks and smells fabulous and Ellie is incredibly obliging. We did not have time to book any treatments but will definitely do so when we can book here again. The General Manager, Mr Steve Woodrow, clearly works very hard along with his team of amazing staff to give each guest a memorable, relaxing and special stay. Thank you all for giving us the break we had hoped for, we really appreciate it.

We were recently hosted by Carey?s Manor for a Management meeting for 12 people, the staff were extremely friendly and courteous and attended to all our needs. The stunning location and ambience set the scene for us to gather inspiration and we came away with a clear plan for our Charity. The delicious buffet style lunch was served and teas/coffees and water was served throughout? not forgetting the gorgeous chocolate brownie! We would highly recommend this venue for business meetings or otherwise!!

Really the best part of our 4-day stay was the breakfasts, overseen by a very helpful and friendly Shaz. Suzi on the front desk was also very informative and helpful, although we only saw her on the day we checked in. The room was comfortable with a lovely balcony for sitting out, overlooking the garden. The bed was not the most comfortable, and I?ve had better pillows. The shower was over the bath (a little difficult for those with mobility of, i.e ME!). And you could not adjust the shower spray, which was very hard and needle like. However, the most disappointing aspect was the lack of dining options. We booked the French restaurant (which closes on Tuesday and Wednesday - really?! In the height of the tourist season?!!! Quite strange) and we were told it was fully booked and they could only offer us a 6 pm sitting, which was way too early. Nevertheless, we took it, only to find that there were lots of empty tables, which never were occupied the whole time we were there. And the lovely outside space was not utilized at all. Curiouser and curiouser! The food was good but nothing to write home home about. For some strange reason, the main dining room in the hotel was closed for dinner. So that only left the Thai restaurant as an option - and Thai food doesn?t suit everyone. For our last few nights, we ended up going to the Huntsman, a short walk from the hotel. What a difference! A great atmosphere, fabulous food and friendly service. Highly recommended. We didn?t use the spa facilities in the hotel, which we felt were overpriced, so cannot comment on that. This was our second stay at Carey?s Manor and I?m afraid it will probably be our last. I have to say, though, that the hotel staff, without exception, were very friendly and helpful. Especially Shaz!!

I stayed here with my sister for 4 days from 6th to 9th August 2023. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Shaz who ran breakfast stood out and was so welcoming and funny and got our morning off to a great start. In fact the breakfast was the best experience of the day. The room was large and comfortable. But the bed for me was a little hard and the pillows not very soft. So I didn't sleep very well. The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the evening meal. One restaurant was closed during our stay which left the French restaurant (but only open 5 days) or the Thai restaurant. We wanted to go to the French restaurant Le Blaireau but had to go at six o'clock or 8.30. 8.30 was a little late and six o' clock was far too early but we booked for 6. When we got there we stayed until about 8 o clock and the restaurant was a quarter full at all times so we could easily have booked for 7 which we tried but were told not possible. The food was great but the atmosphere was dismal maybe due to the lack of people in the restaurant. I would not recommend it. After that we discovered the Huntsman Inn 5 minutes way and we ate there for the last 2 evenings. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and great food I would highly recommend it. Overall the best thing about this hotel is the staff.

The people made the difference beyond a doubt. My mother and I stayed over night after a day at Exbury Gdns & Bucklers Hard. Bruno greeted us by name like old friends and made us feel welcome. We had our bags carried to our room - a treat - which was a ground floor twin. It?s traditional not modern. Some have said ?tired? but it was immaculately clean and no issues so I?d say ?traditional?. We had a delicious meal in the Thai restaurant where staff were very attentive. Beds were very comfy. Shaz greeted us for breakfast - what a kind, warm hearted gem she is and another asset like Bruno. We treated ourselves to a massage. My mother had a lovely lady called Morn who adapted mum?s massage so that it was what she wanted. Pao, who I was with, was so knowledgable and gave me one of the best massages I?ve had. Thank you Carey?s Manor. A really special couple of days with my mum making memories -the people make this place.

Hotel was nice if a little dated. The spa was great and the treatments we booked were lovely. We enjoyed the hydrotherapy experiences and the sauna / steam rooms. We ate in the Cambium restaurant one evening and the food was good and the staff were attentive but there was no atmosphere and it felt a little like dining in an old people?s home. Breakfast was ok but having to pay extra for any cooked selection seems a bit much considering the room prices. Not sure we?d stay there again as we felt it wasn?t value for money but would come for a day spa if staying elsewhere in the area .
