Been coming here for 23 years, it's always the best get away for me to recharge. You'll never be bored here I guarantee you! Its so beautiful I can't tell you in words, you must see for yourself. The staff are so friendly and of course we'll be back next year ?Nearby activities: Lots to see! Ornamental drive is a must see. You'll find the tallest Sequoia trees. There's a reptile center near by. The towns are quaint like Burley (lots of witchy shops and the best snake catcher cider) Lyndhurst for souvenir shops and food, but also visit the ferrari garage! Brockenhurst for the pubs, food and donkey's! And that's only 3 places, there's so much moreWalkability: We walked for miles, didn't come across many people so I could truly enjoy nature to it's fullest. Love itFood & drinks: Fish & chips, indian, Chinese and now a diner! Award winning pastry shop and so much more

Our first visit to Aldridge Hill Campsite. It was lovely and clean with lots of spaces available. We loved the streams running through the woods and so did our dog. Not far from Brockenhurst village and a nice walk to get there through the fields full of heather. Lots of ponies running freely and we even saw a couple of deer. This is a self sufficient site so you?ll need your own chemical toilet. No showers so again make sure you?re all prepared. We?ll definitely come back again.

I've stayed in a few sites around the forest, I'll be back here for sure. Step out from the site in any direction and you're straight into nature, a river, open flat land, forest or gorse. Ponies and cows free to wander through, 2 types of deer spotted. Loads of space and choice to pitch, I moved after my first night when an outer pitch became available. Good drinking water, rubbish points and waste water/chemical toilet disposal points. Basic with no toilets, showers or EHU but not needed and loved my 3 nights there.

Beautiful spot. Lovely to be in the centre of the forest. Lots of deer and horses to watch. About 40min walk into Brockenhurst. No facilities except water and bins. Wardens very friendly and helpful.Nice river closeby.Only negatives would be quite a few noisy, off lead dogs and noisy children. Avoid school hols if you want to enjoy the tranquility.
