This is a very handy little shop/tea room. Doesn't offer cooked meals, but does offer, tea, coffee and soft drinks... their toasted tea cakes are excellent value and recommended. They have a couple of tables outside (weather permitting) and a few seats inside...but NOT an abundance.
For those who rely on wheelchairs, access is hindered by an awkward threshold. But as they have the seating outside this isn't exactly a game changer.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Recommended.

A great selection of old traditional sweets but also newer ones too. Only downside is,it?s very small in there but still pleasant.

The cappuccino here was tepid and very weak. Asked for another shot which was duly obliged but it was still truly awful.The young lady who served us was friendly and polite.

Love this shop! Traditional style sweets in jars, all the old classics plus newer things and AMAZING chocolates. Also ice creams, smoothies and hot drinks. All highly recommendable in my experience!

Old world sweet shop with sweets in jars. Serves good ice in various flavours. However the door is a bit difficult for wheelchairs but the a tables outside for light snacks.

Since moving to Bishops Waltham I have found some lovely local shops and enjoy a wander around the HIgh Street, This Sweet Shop sadly in the exception !! I have taken my GrandChildren in there several times as the concept is great - a mixture of traditional old fashioned sweets in jars / chocolates and pick and mix = Plus ice cream . Sadly the experience is completely ruined by very unfriendly / unhelpful staff who are appear to be irritated by children ...... After our last visit I have decided that I am no longer prepared to put up with rudeness in order to buy sweets for the kids !

I have been going into this shop ever since it was open ( on the corner until it moved into the High Street ) and have always been made very welcome with my well behave dog . Over the years I have spent a considerable amount of money , especially at birthdays , Easter and Christmas. Today I was told that dogs are not allowed in the shop ( very abruptly) There was no notice on the door to this effect .
All other traders in the village are very dog friendly and allow them into their premises. I was surprised and will not be using this shop again . Can local businesses afford to loose customers !

Excellent selection of sweets, traditional and modern. Fab selection of jarred sweets and beautifully packaged too. Now coffee, waffles and ice cream available too.. what's not to like?!

I walked by this shop and was drawn in by all the old fashioned sweets i used to eat when i was younger. I bought some traditional sweets for my two grandchildren and some fizzy crackling stuff i thought my boys would love. They also serve shakes, ice creams and much more.\n\nThere is a little cafe area too.\n\nFriendly staff. \n\nThere waa a charge if you spent under £5 and wanted to pay by card and not cash which surprised me but other than that a great little place right in the High street close to other shops and cafes.
