New residents to Bishop's Waltham so decided to give Hoxton a try. Sadly this will be our only visit.Very cold and frosty welcome from the short short hair person (didn't want to assume their gender) with the earings. Not keen on the handling of bread with bare hands having touched the till, taken customers money , is this a food hygiene issues I'm not sure . Staff on this visit appear to be more interested in using their telephones and chatting amongst themselves.The coffee was good, cakes and pastries standard quality, a quick sweep of the floor wouldn't go a miss. The 15mins in this shop, the table adjacent remained full of cups and plates! Service and customer focus lacking.

We popped in this weekend to check out the hype, sat in and had some cakes and coffee. Looks great and food was good but the staff were really unfriendly. It makes such difference to a place like this. Hope this changes as this would put us off visiting again

Lovely little coffee shop, we stopped for a bite to eat and I had a delicious Brie & Bacon toastie and a chocolate chip cookie. My daughter said the hot chocolate was yummy.Staff were very friendly and explained all the options to us.

Wonderful little bakery, brilliant customer service and incredibly welcoming! Added bonus that dogs are welcome too and even a dog treat jar on the side, so they don?t miss out on treats, while we we?re enjoying ours.

Honestly, I could live here ? one of the best bakery's around. Pastries are bloody divine and its great that i can come and sit in with my dog before going for a walk to work off the copious amounts i will have eaten!

Although fresh the crust is way to hard and very hard to bit/ chew.Items are god but expensive. Always disappointed by the sticky cenotaph on the windows or door makes the shop look dirty.

Took part in their Sunday Sourdough Baking class and had a great time from start to finish. Dylan and Andrew made it hugely enjoyable and we came away with a great goody bag including fresh bread, a loaf ready to bake next morning and our own starter to love and cherish. Can highly recommend the class if anyone's thinking of getting up close and personal with some dough.

Popped in today to stock up on some amazing bread (sadly lost the Hoxton right near to me recently), grabbed a tasty coffee and a snack too (why not!?).
