Party of 3 arrived on a Sunday at 2pm, lots of empty tables. I am Coeliac, meaning I cannot have gluten. Menu states GF options avaliable, I asked for the special of the day hunters toasty on GF bread with no cheese, waitress came back and said kitchen cannot do this. I then asked for some GF toast, with jam. Waitress then came back again and said kitchen refused, as that is off the breakfast menu.
Absolutely terrible service, do not advertise GF avaliable and then refuse. Lack of accommodation from the venue, we cancelled all food orders as a result of this service. I will certainly be sharing this experience on Coeliac south forums.
Avoid if you have allergies.

Lovely clean-looking spacious cafe with wooden beams and nice decor.
The staff however didn?t smile throughout our time there, and made us feel like we were a bit of a burden just wanting to grab some lunch! They wouldn?t take our order at 11:56 (lunch starts at 12), and I understand bending rules is unfavourable however I am not sure why they couldn?t write our order down and leave it in the kitchen for a couple of minutes until kitchen staff were ready for the lunch shift. It just didn?t feel very friendly or welcoming.
I couldn?t finish my soup as it was so salty (and I'm usually the one who adds salt to everything!) I?m sure someone had made a mistake in the kitchen, but unfortunately staff were dismissive and barely looked up at me while I tried to explain (so they could fix it for other customers). No apology and certainly no replacement or refund.
Prices are also a bit silly. Adding ?a slice of cheese? onto the bread you get with your soup would add an extra £3.10 to your bill. £3.10 for a slice of cheese! Oof.

A somewhat frosty reception 30mins before closing time, so try arriving early! ? Seating areas inside and out looks lovely. Wonderful location in picturesque Beaulieu. ?? New Forest

Been calling in this cafe for years every few months. Sadly this time was the last. Ordered a coffee, caramel iced latte, juice, cake and a biscoff cookie. The coffee was nice, that?s the positives. The cake was average and the ice coffee has separate milk floating on top of the ice cubes and drink, I approached the counter and asked for a replacement and I was told ?that normal?? but they?d make a replacement. Felt they were very dismissive and it seems belittling customers opinion on an obvious issue was fine. And with no apology. I wasn?t about to inform them that after reaching my mid 40?s, and half that time spent in kitchens, and that was separated milk all day every day! Anyway, we waited and watched the lady who was more occupied in the till for some reason, then after a frustrating 4-5 mins as other at the table drank their drinks she decided to start the drink. I noted she ditched the current milk carton for a new one and the drink was made with no separation, odd that! Sadly it tasted like crap tho, the caramel was barely present in the drink. Then the lotus biscoff cookie was tried and was obviously a plain flapjack style cookie with no absolutely flavouring. It was dry, and had no resemblance to a biscoff flavour. I called a different member of staff and informed them, but I was told ?that?s what they were advertised as?, again no apologies. What?s happened to customer service??? I sincerely hope this is a one off. But as a local customer, I can?t see us returning. I would normally let this go, but I couldn?t after I tried twice to address the two small issues in the cafe, and was met with two blunt responses and paid over £20 for the pleasure. I find this happens more and more where you pay on ordering, there?s a lot to be said for paying after the eating is done.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable lunch here on Friday. It was busy but did not have to wait for a table outside. Our order was taken quickly by very friendly staff and did not take long for the drinks and food to come. We had paninis which were excellent and the chips, well... the best we have had in a very long time. Highly recommend.

Went in for lunch on a very hot day.
No problem getting a table for four inside even with part of the restaurant closed off.
We ordered a mixture of meals and they all came quickly, the pizza was very nice all cooked onsite.
Reasonable priced with everything for four adults coming in at just over £70.
One down side we were plagued by wasps even though we were sitting inside, shame, they maybe need to put some wraps traps outside to attract them.

We have visited Steffs on a number of occasions over the Years, and no matter how busy, the Service and Standard of Food have been nothing less than excellent.Visited again on the 20th June with the extension completed, and yet again it did not disappoint.Special mention to Wendy for her Service.

We are regulars at Steff?s kitchen since 2010 & it has always been very popular with the locals who recognise good food, delicious cakes and friendly service. A special thank you today to the manager who was very kind to us all & showed empathy & support when our friend had a terrible nose bleed. Thank you

We had gone to Beaulieu for the day, stepped into their cafe to be greeted with utter Chaos, no tables and extorniate prices, so hoped on Google to see what is around, and stumbled on Steffs kitchen.
Headed down there for lunch and what a find!
Great service, nice atmosphere, fresh food. Well worth a visit!
