Worst customer service I have ever experienced. One star because I can't give ZERO After three months I quitted trying to get my contact lenses prescription. First appointment was confirmed by text message the evening before the appointment, but when I went there apparently there was a problem and they didn't have my number or mail to contact me. The appointment was rescheduled as these things ''could happen to anyone''. Then I had my eyes tested. The optician was really good and professional. The lenses for my prescription were not available so I had to wait a week. After two weeks I had to call to ask what happened and apparently had just arrived and I was told I can go anytime during Saturday. I asked specifically if an optician will be there as they had made clear that only opticians do that. I went there but apparently no opticians after 1:00p.m (if I remember correctly). So I had to go back after a week and have them fitted which went alright. Another optician was there who was again really professional and helpful. I was told I have to come back after a week to check how my eyes are reacting when I wear lenses for long hours and I was given an appointment after a week. This appointment of course didn't happen but this time they called me to cancel it. That was the last drop. I went there I asked for a refund and this was the first time that someone apologised!! from the stuff and they promised that I will get my prescription via email when the optician is back since I was going on holiday and by the time I would be back I would have been wearing the lenses for about a month. Guess what? I never got the prescription but I couldn't be bothered even to go and ask back for my money. I will just know better next time.

Overpriced fruit and veg at the low quality end of the scale. Generally the fruit has been frozen for transport, making it tasteless by the time you eat it. The mangoes for example are normally rotten by the time the ripen. The 2 for 1 deals are generally pointless. Staff are really friendly and helpful on the plus side.

The staff at this store when loading the marked down goods in the mark down section have a very bad attitude perhaps they are jealous of the savings customers are able to have if they are lucky enough to be in the store at the right time. I was there with my daugther yesterday and was very shocked to see the female staff worker stacking the marked down section with such agression. She was throwing the packets of food on to the shelf and clearing was not pleased to be doing the job. Of course customers are going to be keen to pick up bargins any may well get in her way but the attitude was complete rudeness and my 6 year old daughter even noticed how agressively she through the items onto the sheves looking at me to say what is her problem. I suggest they mark down the items in the warehouse and bring them out on shelves ready to load on to the selling shelves !!

Tesco is sucking the life out of Chineham Centre, first the chemists and now the truly excellent Opticians. avoid this if at all possible.

This supermarket leaves a lot to be desired, suffering the arrogance that having such a hold on the market often brings with it. Complaints are often dealt with in a surly fashion and the attitude towards the spreading of litter around the shopping centre and shopping trolleys well beyond is nothing short of shameful. Letters to their management are ignored.

this store is a large shop that stocks a wide range of goods, the range of clothes is ample and always well stocked, they do great kids clothes that are quite cheap but of a good quality, at times this shop can get very busy and cramped and they have a habit of not re filling the shelves with stock which i find happens more in the evening, and at lunch times many of the nearby office staff decend here for there luch!,they do have self service tills though if you only have a few bits and you dont have to wait long to be served, the staff are helpful and freindly, and there is ample parking here which is always a bonus, watch out for their trolleys though they never do what you want them too!

This Tescos store is located in Chineham Shopping Centre amongst other retail outlets such as Next, Boots, Lloyds Chemist so is a very useful location to get your shopping and this is one of the reasons I tend to use this Tescos outlet. There is also a large car park to Chineham Centre so there should be no problems with parking at all. There are shopping trolleys located in the car park and directly outside the store. There is a good selection of food and drink, clothes, DVDs, books, household items and although they do have some electrical goods and toys there is not a huge variety and you would be better visiting a Superstore if you require these items. The check out staff are very friendly and helpful and always ask if you need help with packing. There are quite a few checkouts in the store but sometimes especially at busy periods you can have quite a wait on your hands to get served. They also have self service locations which is very handy. There is a toilet and a photography booth but there is not a cafe although in Chineham Centre there is a very nice cafe just across from Tescos.

The store is located in the Chineham Centre and is accompanied by numerous other shops. Always a great store to visit, ample parking available and provides home delivery throu online ordering. Opens 24 hrs which is a savoir for me and others that can never find a store open. Very large supermarket that sells pretty much everything, personally i love their sandwiches and confectionary ailes. Deli and fish counters are a bonus and rottisary hot counter is very enjoyable. You can purchase your National Lottery here also. Staff memebers are very polite and helpfull.
