Bright and cafe like, no music. I ordered shashlik and it came with a mounded mound of rice and the chicken and peppers arranged around the rice in a circle. Like what my nan would have plated up. Everyone else?s dishes were served with the rice on silver trays and main meals in authentic pots. Plain Naan bread was really dry. Dirty knife n fork from my friends plate fell on my cutlery and it wasn?t changed. Small portions and quite expensive for what we got. Not like an authentic curry house

"Spicy Tadka is a hidden gem in Basingstoke! Their paneer dishes are incredibly flavorful and creamy, and their naan is perfectly cooked and fluffy and the egg fried rice is a great accompaniment, with a satisfying blend of flavors and textures. Highly recommended!"

Very disappointed with my recent delivered order. I have ordered from Spicy Tadka a few times now and up until my recent order it has been lovely.
Below I have attached a photo of the onion bhajis I ordered, as you can see they don?t look particularly appealing - Dry, cold, hard and definitely not fresh. I messaged the delivery driver who said he?d speak to the manager but I heard nothing back.
I?m very disappointed.

Splendid food , railway lamb curry , Laal Maas, really enjoyed the food . Gagan served us well. I would appreciate if the portion of curry and rice could be a bit generous for that price. Lamb Curry was nearly £16.50 and a small portion of Rice was £4.00. Please make the portions a bit more. Other than that all is Good. I think the hand made Naan is relatively small in comparison to Restaurants in Reading or in Slough or in Southall or Hounslow.

This was our first visit to Spicy Tadka. The food and service were excellent. And it is great to have a good variety of options for vegetarians and vegans.
