Looking at the previous reviews perhaps it was an off-hand experience just for me. But I?ve been to a birmingham branch and felt the same as previous reviews (amazing quality service)
However when I went on Christmas Eve, I wasn?t welcomed or approached for service strangely. Did get the help I needed when asking for shoes though but not in stock due to timing.

It?s a lovely store run by welcoming, friendly ,helpful and knowledgeable staff. Young lady(trainee) was super great. My little one loves her new shoes & trainers. Thank you, guys !

I don't recall the last time I was treated so well in a shop. The man who served me was extraordinarily helpful and knowledgeable.
I really only came in to have a casual look at Birkenstocks, not expecting to find a pair for my size 9 feet.
But he helped me so much that I found my perfect pair.

The staff at this store are absolutely wonderful. Thank you for being so lovely.
I had ordered some Birkenstocks online from Office that would not arrive in time for when I needed them (my fault for ordering too late). So I went to Office to see if I could buy a pair in store and return the ordered pair when they arrived. There were 3 staff members in the empty shop. None of them acknowledged me or offered to help, and it was clear I was interrupting their conversation when I asked for assistance. Unfortunately the size of shoe needed wasn?t in stock and they were just pretty meh about it and it felt like they were just pleased to get back to doing, well, nothing.
So off to Schuh (practically opposite) I went. The location was not the only thing that was opposite. The staff here were delightful. Helpful and engaging from the off. They showed genuine care and are a credit to their store. I had been in a few weeks previously and the same standard of service was shown then too, so this is clearly their usual high level of customer care. They even made my day a little brighter. So thank you very much for your help and for your excellent customer care. I will shop here instead of your competitor from now on :)

Very friendly staff, great shoe recycling initiative. We were served by Sasha and she was very friendly, approachable and helpful, she engaged with us and helped us pick the right sized-shoe. Highly recommend Shuh, I will definitely go here from now on to get my shoes.

Visited on 2 separate occasions recently and both times had excellent service. Plenty of staff on hand and asked if I needed any help. I really like their mobile system of checking stock of items which saves time.

Took 11 Yr old granddaughter shoes shopping ready for secondary school. The young man who served us was most helpful and there was an excellent selection of suitable shoes at very reasonable prices.We got shoes, a bag with a discount and some trainers. They didn't have the required size in the trainers so ordered them they arrived within 2 days. Excellent service and a really nice shop.

The shoes are decent here, but the aggressive sales approach tarnishes the experience. The salespeople push too hard on upsells and loyalty programs, to the point of even trying to sell to those just accompanying shoppers, not looking to buy. They also hover during shoe trials, which adds to the pressure. It's unfortunate, as their high-pressure tactics detract from what could be a relaxed shoe shopping outing. If you value a laid-back and non-pushy shopping environment, this might not be the place for you.
