Not a fan of this place, the choice is too small and too many tip off products with similar names to to the top brands. Always seems like a brick a brack swap shop.

I?ve always loved Lidl for its fresh bread, baked goods, and especially the doughnuts ? they?re hard to resist! Whenever I spot a Lidl, I?m usually tempted to pop in for a quick treat. The Basingstoke branch has many of the things I enjoy: friendly staff, a clean and well-stocked store, and a great bakery section.
However, one downside is that there are often long queues, and unlike other locations, this store doesn?t have self-checkout tills, which can be frustrating when you're just grabbing a few items. It would really improve the experience if quicker checkout options were available.
Still, for the quality of the baked goods, it remains a go-to stop ? just be prepared to wait a little during busy times.

A nice store, with friendly staff. But the lack of self service checkouts means I avoid it as much as possible. If you're buying just a couple of items, you're too reliant on someone else in front being nice and letting you go first.
