Recently John Burton's has become our go to for all meat & eggs. Great quality meat and eggs with beautifully golden yolks. Really affordable & the family who own the shop are brilliant. Special shout out to the ladies on the till, always up for a chat.

Best scotch egg in Basingstoke! Went out the back to grab them, apparently even better hot but not sure how that possible! They were so good I need more.

A real live butcher! The meat is really good and there are specials on all the time. They also do roast dinner packs with the meat and all the veg for 4, 5 etc people. Also stocks other food and household items. We've shopped here for years, their borewors is also superb.
