Polite staff. Their charges for a local delivery 1.1mile was £40. Items purchased - 2 sheets of plasterboard approx £24, I could not fit them in my car. They were delivering on my road the same day, I felt the charge of £40 was excessive. On the basis of this I brought the rest of my materials that I could fit in my car from screwfix and wickes at the cost of £300 approx. #lostbusinesses

Funny enough I had been given the account forms by their Walton branch so booked some materials from their Basingstoke branch for an Am delivery slot 0800-Midday to a site in Basingstoke.Nothing by 1130am so called the branch, I was on the second run so delivery by 13:00. 2pm and still nothing, called again to be told between 2.30-330pmAll the ballast and cement came after 3pm. We live near Heathrow so all the hired plant didn't get returned that day as we were too late. By the time we mixed and lated the base it was too late. Nothing but lies from the store staff but take your money ASAP.Won't be going back, painful and dishonest service.
