Nice place with a great choice of cards, present's wraps and all the things you might need for a holiday.
Also I liked an opportunity to inflate my own foil balloons with the gas for a small fee, they look really nice and are inflated fully though it's already 6th day since the party.

Large selection of cards and gift-type items.
Unlike many Card Factorys, it was clean, well stocked and no queue. Service with a smile.
Not much more I could need from the place.

Birthday balloons deflating prematurely which I bought from Reading while at work, visited local Basingstoke branch only to be told to inflate it for free at the Reading branch.

I came in to store I saw 3 pokemon teddies was gutted they didn?t have the charmander one but Catherine was a great help and said when it comes in she will hold it for me she was like extremely helpful and explained everything in detail

I witnessed an older lady shouting at a pregnant young lady for not picking up a glass that was accidentally dropped within the shop. The women was incredibly rude and really shocked me. If I wasn?t with my child, I would have said something. I asked the young lady if she was okay, she just also said she was shocked.

Didn't find exactly what I was looking for, also whilst paying the staff were chatting to each other whilst serving me and didnt say hello or goodbye, found that very rude.

I will shop here again because the prices are so reasonable, the card selection is fairly vast and alot of the designs and wording is very nice. I gave 3 stars because I unfortunately feel very let down by the disorganisation of their products, mostly the cards. They are often very messy, in the wrong place, bent etc... it's like shopping at Primark! Ok, not quite as bad, but still! Also because I rarely find the staff particularly helpful or personable. They also don't seem to know much about their products or their placement in store. I have to say, it's the same in most branches. But not all experiences have been the same, some staff have been great and I have purchased some really lovely cards and small gifts, very cheaply. The Card Factory are particularly useful at Christmas!
