Wonderful experience at the opticians - my glasses had started to come apart and so took them back. The assistant - Kirra - in the eye department could not have been more helpful, polite and professional. Provided a replacement set of frames at no cost while I waited. Excellent customer service, thank you.

Security guard made me so uncomfortable when I was looking at nail polish. He kept going back and forth, clicking his fingers. So I left and went and bought them from superdrug where they were on offer.
Never had a bad experience from this boots before, but I did not appreciate the way he made me feel. I always choose boots over superdrug, I will be reconsidering.
I would have spent around £25 on nail varnish with you, whereas in superdrug I spent £15 for the exact same. You need to perhaps reconsider your security if they are deterring paying customers.

I recently visited for a foundation match in preparation for my prom. As a shy teenager, I was pleasantly surprised by the kind and understanding service. The staff took the time to ask my preferences and other questions, which really helped to make the experience enjoyable. I?m very pleased with the wonderful team and service.

Went for Future health checkup and Bridget ensured I was comfortable, explained what tests will be done Nd even took care to ask about plaster allergy(dint know there was plastic or latex related allergy). The whole thing took about 15-20 mins. Boots has always been my go to for medicines for decades and every employee there have always strived to do their best. Top team.

Me and my friends got harassed and followed around the store by the security and multiple workers because they decided to assume that me and my friends were stealing, after they asked us if we had a problem and when we said we?re just looking for vaseline they decided to scream in our faces, threaten me and kick us out plus ban us for no reason. Workers here need some serious training and they should rethink who they hire

I've been waiting for my medication for over 7 days.
I have been in 7 time's to ask about my medication, only to be told over and over again, it will be ready tomorrow.
I asked the staff member, how long has Boots had my medication? To be told, they have had it for a few day's.
I asked, why haven't I received my medication?
Only to be told it not been processed.
I have the same issues every time I go and get my medication.
I'm missing items or they have given me medication, I didn't order. I try and give it back, to be told some time's they can't take it. Even know they have just given me the medication.
It's just a joke it really is.

Staff are not trained in anything other than policy when obvious common sense approaches are needed, I suspect this is due to poor management either corporate or local - who incidentally were unwilling to come and deal with our issue.
The store were unable to fulfil the service we had paid for and in an extremely short sighted view insisted in only a partial refund while retaining what we consider to be private and personal material, not to mention this would cost us more time and money to rectify... a 15 minute stressful back and forth about non-sensical policy over simple common sense with junior staff prevailed, this isn't what anyone wishes for on their Sunday afternoon. Only to be told 'theres no point in arguing' and the refund to be issued anyway. - I think you would find point in arguing your cause if it were your money and time.
We will boycott Boots Basingstoke all together after this experience, its not the bastian of the high street it once was in service and there are always other options.

**DO NOT USE PHOTO PRINTING SERVICE HERE**
Visited on Sunday 29th December at 12.30
Ordered photos online for collection in store, scanned the QR code and an error message came up a staff member was alerted and we were informed that the printer had run out of ribbon and the photo printing could not be completed.Staff told us that there was no more ribbon and that we would not be able to complete our printing. No ribbon in stock apparently which is extremely poor for a photo printing service.
Myself and my husband were given 2 options :
Option 1 : We could leave with our partial batch of photos and be refunded for the individual photos that were not printed.
Option 2 : We can have a full refund but were told that Boots would have to keep the private photos of our family members!
The member of staff had no empathy and insisted that this was their policy. To give context the batch of photos I paid for was only £16.50 this issue is not about money but about common sense and human decency.
We have no use for a half finished batch of photos and will have to get the whole batch re-printed elsewhere costing us further time and money.The staff were hellbent on enforcing their policy and no compromise was offered. Asked to speak to management and was told ?there?s no point in arguing? which showed a clear lack of emotional intelligence and customer service training.
We were not arguing at all we simply wanted a refund and to leave with our unfinished batch of photos so we can dispose of them ourselves for peace of mind at home. It felt like a violation of privacy to leave them with strangers.
This is not the level of customer service I expect from boots and was shocked at the lack of common sense applied to the situation.
They have lost 2 customers today because of this.

I visited today to have my eyes tested after cataract surgery, the optician was really lovely, efficient, and I have every confidence in her, BUT I saw a young lady before her and a young man afterwards to choose glasses and arrange which sort of lenses, etc., and they didn't seem to know what they were doing, I understand they may be new to the job, but surely they should only be allowed to deal with the public when they are confident and know what they are doing. In fact my appointment was at 10.45 and because of their incompetence I left the shop at 12.25!!!!!!!!! I just hope my glasses are ok when I eventually get them!!!!!! I will NEVER visit this shop again regarding my eyes!!!!

Disappointing Customer Service.
I recently visited Boots and had a very disappointing experience.
Firstly, the staff seemed overwhelmed and untrained, which I suspect is a reflection of poor management practices.

Had an amazing appointment on Sunday for my eyes. The optician was thorough friendly and incredible.
Came back today Wednesday 6th November to look for frames and I have left never to return given the poor service not even provided by Emily on the counter today, rude abrupt and appeared to be frustrated having to answer any questions.
Boots really you need to get quality people. There are enough people seeking employment
