Very unhappy with service. Asked for just for almond nails but technician wasn?t happy that I didn?t have a photo reference. Applied extensions and acrylic powder and then was speaking to the others and on his phone and left without saying anything. After a short wait another technician said he was taking over. He was very rough and was clearly just rushing to get done not trying to do a decent job. Despite rushing like his life depended on it, he still took the time to message on his phone. The times on the store and online said they closed at 7 but if they closed earlier due to the bank holiday this wasn?t made known and they should have turned me away if there would not be sufficient time to do the work properly. I didn?t want any colour as I end up having to redo it normally when I get home anyway but left prior to them doing a base coat as I had had enough of the rude technician. Nails are different lengths and poorly shapen so not even happy with the nails let alone the service. I was dubious to come back after countless poor experiences but this was the nail in the coffin for me.

I clearly asked for Gel finish on my nail which cost about £10 extra which I have no problem paying. A male technician remove the Gel from the table before the female technician could finish my nails. She was reassigned to do a pedicure. The male technician told me he finished. When I paid the bill I realised that it was a basic manicure as the extra for the Gel was not charged. Now I can see and compare I am certain that this was not done. Yes it was a busy day but it?s not the way to do business.

I did my nail here and it came off within 3 days. I messaged on FB but got no response so went to shop and explained what happened. The staff said to me if it?s on my own nail it will come off easily, which was not very helpful. He kept on arguing and was not listening to me but instead was ignoring me which made me feel uncomfortable so I walked out.

These guys are the best. Very warm and friendly and always leave the place with a smile on my face. I found the staff take direction well and have had some really good designs from here. Definitely recommend over other places in Basingstoke - customer service wise they?re miles better than other places.

Told it?s a 15 minutes wait, 40 minutes later still noone has called me over. This is typical of nail salons but I specifically said I have work to go to and to give me a realistic time expectation.Staff don?t seem to value the customer as they are busy enough that upsetting an individual doesn?t matter.Edit - 3 years after this review I came back hoping there had been some improvement as nowhere else was open and if anything it?s worse. They are rude, don?t listen to what you?re asking them to do, and if you tell them you don?t like what they?ve done they storm off, ridiculous place - this was after a half an hour wait also.

I had built up almost enough points (bar 2 stamps) on a loyalty card with Apple Nails for 20% off a treatment. I had a second loyalty card (given to me by the shop when I?d temporarily mislaid the first card) with 3 stamps on. Today, I was refused my 20% discount on the basis that there was not enough stamps on one card! I was told it wasn?t possible to combine the two. But I had racked up enough loyalty points regardless! Seems a very petty rule.Just to add to this - today was my planned last time of going to this place due to the amount of times I?ve come away with bleeding/sore cuticles. The gent who did my nails today (Tony) did them perfectly, so I took his name and decided I would ensure I ask for him every time from now on. Sadly the experience with payment today has made me feel that custom isn?t as appreciated as I would like to think.

My mum and I come here as they started on being very good and gave us what we were asking for. But after a few years they stopped listening to us and told us what to do with us nails, then ignored us when we complained. It?s a shame as they started off really good. But they did ruin my natural nails and made them weak.

Staff is friendly and welcoming but the result is extremely disappointing! Went in to remove my previous reconstructed nails and decided to get gel on top of my real ones..they reconstructed 2 for free and while they certainly looked nice they lasted only 3 days! Gel has come off easily and they look disgusting now. Reconstructed nails might be fine but gel on top of real nails doesn't last at all and they should have advised against it. £30 literally in the bin!! First and last time they'll see me.

Have been using this nail shop for years and can not fault them l, couple of times I had to complain but in the amount of years I've used them that's nothing, Ruby and Michael have always been accommodating and the customer service has always been good.

Usual go here to have my nails done. Went yesterday and spent £60 on getting a full set of acrylics and having a pedicure with gel. 1 acrylic has already come off and two of my gel nails on my toes have come off. Very disappointed and won?t be coming back again!!!!!
