Today I visited this branch, toleave disappointed by the way the gentleman behind the cigarette counter had spoken to me. He was an older, well spoken gentleman, who was rude and abrupt to me when I had not fully heard what he had said.I find this unacceptable to be spoken down to in this manner when he is there to serve me as a customer?!It lets your branch down as there are some nice staff in this branch, like the lady who was supervising the self service tills who had noticed and wished me a pleasant day with a smile.

A busy morning in store with only one till on. 5 deep with full trolleys waiting. Self check out and baskets only till queueing out of sight.Not good enough at any time but in the run up to xmas unforgiveable.

We do love going into this store. However these days (I'd say roughtly August - present September 2023). Most of the staff (not all!!) Seem to be very upset if you get in their way! If you ask for help! We walked in and there were working trolley carts everywhere, pallets??? What has happened to this store? It used to be pristine and run like a top notch ship! Fabulous people in store, at all the tills! working the floors! Any counter! It WAS as if all the staff had been groomed to be THE absolute best.. for this area and they DID have the best CARE and service in the area. No longer.I DO still shop there! There are still facilities available, but it seems more than half the staff just can't be bothered.. we the customer are an inconvenience. ? (Parking can be found adjacent to the mall... the store is inside the mall with plenty of trolleys - I can't recall if you have to do the push/£pound or not, we usually do 2 handbaskets!) I'd say it's been a good year or so since we last experienced that top notch in-store care!!

Popped into Waitrose in Andover as I needed bread and then asked a store worker where the Bombay gin was as I buy a bottle for Christmas, firstly the man was very abrupt in telling me where it was and secondly I had the security guard just about on my back!! So that put me off buying it anyway and I said to him I?m only looking Jesus I felt like a criminal. Probably got a lot more money than he has and certainly do not have to steal anything? But I will NEVER set foot in Waitrose ever again!

RIDICULOUS!! My 28 year old sister got ID'd for a bottle of vodka and was refused when she showed her ID !! It's an 18+ citizen card and is a legally accepted ID !! It's police approved !! It gets accepted everywhere else !! IT HAS A HOLOGRAM PASS !!

Great place to shop. With the Waitrose store card there some great offers and savings.Now reintroduced the free coffee.
