Sunday lunch was not good half cooked Yorkshire pudding, vegetables over cooked no apple sauce with the pork shame also the resturant was really cold so much for the real fire!!!

We had a family Sunday lunch last weekend, excellent food, great service in a relaxed environment. We were a group of eleven with three young children. The staff were very patient and attentive to my grandchildren.Well done guys we will definitely eat there again ?

Went for Sunday Roast, the best we've had around this area, a choice of three meats and a vegetarian option. Portion size perfect, lovely tender meat, plenty of vegetables and the finest roast potatoes I've had in a long time. The price was several pounds less than other places we've been to and if you have the Sunday roast, desserts are half price. Will definitely be going back for another roast.

Needed a pub for a family get together and this was half way between us. Sadly service was very slow and food was not the best.Food & drinks: Slow service. Took nearly 5 minutes to provide a glass of water.Food took ages - excuse was that they broke an egg and were cooking a fresh one. When ham eggs and chips arrived eggs were overdone. Burger was very dried out. Disappointed.
