Unbelievable customer service from the lads in the shop. To top it off free coffee and a free bacon bap for anyone spending over £100. (Limited time only on the bacon bap)The lads in the yard always willing to help load the van and help where they can.All in all an easy and customer friendly atmosphere. Can not recommend them enough.

Went with SCBS as they had the type of materials we were after, specially the matching tone for our current patio slabs, good quality of aggregate and decent price. This is not at all the problem.However we scheduled delivery for a Friday and it never arrived. Spoke to the manager at the time who explained they had been short of a driver for the week. After asking him when he was planning to notify me, all he could say was he wanted to see if something would suddenly make things work, at Friday 4:30pm. Had he notified me even a day before, I would've put on hold everything else.Although he finally agreed to pay for a day's tool hire provided I emailed the invoice, which I did. He then said HQ was looking at the invoice. He then moved to another branch and the current manager takes no responsibility. I have given up now.It is just a shame that what genuinely seems like a good company fell into passing the blame, instead of addressing the issue as one.

Great company, Lovely staff, also the burger van outside is really nice whileyour waiting for the materials to be loaded, I normally go for bacon hash brown baguette with ketchup, the office staff are easy to talk to and have a good product knowledge. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered materials for a Monday delivery but didn't turn up until end of day on the Tuesday so cost me the price of a carpenter for 2 days..Plywood that was delivered was full of cracks and warped... so badly that half of one sheet was unusableMy first and last experience with this company.. I Will never use them again

Kind sales team available on the phone. Rarely let down and if I am, they call, communicate and go above and beyond to ensure everything arrives on time. Great team and good products.

Terrible company branch, delivery driver caused damage to our property and management did little to help, leaving us at the mercy of their insurance company who did everything to wriggle out of paying for the repairs. Had to repair it myself in the end. Will never use them again.

Ordered 3 tonne of materials that Wicks could not deliver, came promptly, much cheaper. Customer service could be better as they didn't ring back on an enquiry but the delivery driver was very accommodating and I was very happy with the service and products overall.

No problem with the products but after spending a considerable amount the customer service was just awful, rude, dissinterested and unable to show any responsibility once you handed over your cash.
