So showboat has been in Andover for a while (30 plus years). Can't be that bad right. Not so sure myself. The owner is a lovely chap. Some of the food is good. The other night though ordered a chiefs special burger. I eat about a quarter and throw the rest in the bin. It was so bad. Not sure if the oil the chicken was fried in or burger had been dead for to long. It was really bad. Kerbab meat was dry and horrible. Son had a burger, which he rated 4/5. Chips were nice cant complain and onion rings. Would I order from them again. No. Why my burger was proper minging. Also we ordered a drink, which we didn't get. It's a shame. I like the owner but I can't get so much better

trying new takeaways won?t order again, I ordered a XL kebab with pretty much everything extra, it was basically a medium no way an XL, the meat was in chunks, squares & very dry this is not good, the salad wasn?t fresh, I even ordered my dogs a large virgin kebab & they needed water after, to dry even for them, each to there own I guess but Charcoal Grill is definitely better, bye bye Show boat.

It's the very best quality chicken that's always fresh and piping hot. You get a mixture of wings breast thighs and drumsticks so no corners are cut. The portions are so large two pieces are enough for a dinner. Alternatively you could go to KFC and get a very small drumsticks (where does the white meat go now) for more money and inferior food

The most disgusting food I've ever ordered in Andover. The chicken in the wrap was tough chewy rubber.The kebab meat was a small little box for £3, that was cold, dry as a bone and tough as well.The lump of mayo, dolloped on my chips, looked more like a lumpy cheese sauce and made half the chips a soggy mess. I literally couldn't eat any of it!!Phoned up and the guy on phone was useless and offered me a wrap on next collection, not delivery and would not refund me. I won't be going back! First and last order. Avoid Showboat!!The tango however, was lovely!

Personally the kebab was not nice and not the traditional kebab you get from other places. I believe it just was the fact they used kebab from a day or two ago. It was cut in small cube like bits and seemed to be cooked on the flat oven. Also you could just taste it was not fresh. Unfortunately won?t be going back.

I?ve been coming here over here for 20 years if I fancy a good take away Burger, not so much in recent times as I don?t live locally now.Recently went back over Christmas and delighted to see the familiar faces of the brothers that own it.Burgers are cooked to order and are nice and juicy, plenty of salad topping options and sauces.Fries are also fried to order and are crispy and hot unlike some places.Place is clean and tidy and hasn?t changed a bit in that time which is part of its charm.

Delivery was under 10 minutes from ordering. Food was hot and very tasty. Been struggling to find good tasting warm kebabs recently but these were perfect. Will be ordering from here again. Thank you Showboat!

Friendly gentleman serving I think he is the owner his burgers are the best I recommend cheese and mushroom ketchup and mustard totally worth trying
