So much fresh quality produce for normal, vegan, and free-from diets. A lot of seasonal decorative products as well as home furnishings. Fantastic.

Rosebourne was a garden center a class above the rest. Then when Hillier took over I thought they had managed to keep up the standard. Unfortunately in my opinion, it has deteriorated to being no better than many of it's competitors.
I now find that even in the cafe, they have become partially self service, necessitating the need to queue up to order, rather than being able to order on the app. This may not put off people that struggled with the app, but as someone who likes to sit down and order from the table, I will now resort to some of the lovely cafes in places like Stockbridge where a more relaxed experience can be had. I expect the excuss for this will be staff shortages, but personally think it is short sighted.

Such a disappointment all round, especially in the self service cafe. The quality of food and size of portions has decreased since our last visit. Toast with Welsh Rarebit was hard as if it had been left to keep warm whilst two other mains were prepared. Chips and macaroni cheese were mediocre.
Canned drinks were nice although not the usual brand which is even nicer.
All staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Thank goodness!
End of time in cafe was spoilt by the arrival of a very noisy, yappy, white terrier type of dog which could then be heard all over the shop. No one minds a well behaved, sociable dog, even in a cafe but this poor, stressed out canine was distressing to witness.
Not sure that it's now worth the drive to visit this store which really has gone downhill in the last few months.
The marks were only raised by the high standard of professional staff.

On a regular basis as a family we would visit the garden centre and enjoy breakfast or lunch. Not anymore, the new system in the restaurant is awful, not sure which bright spark thought this would be a good idea. I watched several people struggling to hold and take their cakes to the counter...No trays!
Staff are wonderful as usual but we will now go elsewhere.
Pitty, if it's not broken, don't fix it!

Great garden centre with lots of choice plus a really good farm shop style grocery, butchers and delicatessen. A little pricier than some other places but the choice and quality seems worth it.

Went for lunch today, ordered a cream cheese, avocado & rocket baguette for £9.99!!!! What arrived was just sad. The cream cheese had no flavour and an odd consistency like white paste, the avocado wasn?t fresh and tasted odd, the leaves ( not rocket), were limp and tasteless. Won?t be back and judging by the comments from the couple sat behind us, neither will they. The staff however are lovely, and I feel sorry for them as they will be the ones dealing with unhappy customers.

What?s happening at Hilliers cafe. So many items not available, the same issue happened last week, less than half the menu is available.

Lovely garden centre. Plants looked healthy. Lots of gift ideas. Cafe had a steady flow of people on a Fri. Toilets were clean just needed some maintenance work eg holes filled in n decorated.

What has happened to the cafe in this place?
We ate there today and it was the worst meal we've had in a long time!
I had a chicken burger and my wife had a bacon and beef burger. They were both hard and indigestible!
In addition my very thin piece of chicken was coated in some kind of breadcrumbs, which as a diabetic I did not want!
This coating was almost impossible to scrape off as it too was extremely tough!
My wife said her bacon was also too hard to eat!
We shall not be returning!
