Always very good service. They work incredibly hard with a constant flow of people going in. I find it's good to remember their work load if there is sometimes a little wait.

Rude, inefficient staff who clearly need a change of employment.
They apparently only order medicines when there is a prescription to fill.
Therefore if you need antibiotics urgenty (and why else would you need them?) It can take up to a week to fulfill your prescription.

So if you go in Boots Charlton do not ever let yourself be seen by Pam, she is a very very angry woman who hates the job she is doing but cannot change to another because she is used to this one and its close to her home. She really do not give two toss about your ailments or illness, she will speak the way she feels like to you because she is the one in control at the till 85% of the time. The company Boots will not read the comments as its a sub unit to their main shop in Andover. So this is just a notice to the locals that use the shop in Charlton Rd. Pam I am quite sure you read these comments and get more angry and riled up by them but sadly they are true. I hate rude customers and wouldn't have them in my shop but not all of the customers are rude when they come to Boots in Charlton. If this job makes you unhappy, change it...life to short to stay miserable over a job that you will have to leave eventually. Short staffed is not an excuse anymore for rudeness. A sign on the door explaining the issues of the day will keep customers not willing to wait in a queue away, just give the customers fair warning instead of the angry faces and rude attitude.

Arrived at 12.55 to pick up at order, claimed they were closed and wouldnt let me pick it up. Time on the door said they closed at 1pm.

This Boots branch is so useful. They are very local for me and always do their best to fill my prescriptions. When I have mistakenly nearly run out, they have gone the extra mile to make sure I have my meds in time. The pharmacist has always been very helpful too. They do a great job despite filling 1000s of prescriptions.

I switched to this pharmacy at the end of last year and the ladies that were answering the phone and on the register were super helpful. But.. as of recently the location is exceptionally understaffed and the service is poor. I tried 28 times to reach them by phone on Friday. Failing that I drove over after work and was told "I don't know when we will have that medication in stock," and to "try back Monday or Tuesday." That's fine except the phones engaged again Monday and I gave up my lunch break to drive over to be told the medication is in but it won't be ready until this evening.The medicine is also available at the other boots but since the phones are engaged I couldn't get them to release the prescription.I rank it 2 stars, hoping it's a fluke and the other ladies will return soon but really I will have to look into another pharmacy if it doesn't change.

Writing a review on behalf of my mother who encountered the rudest member of staff on the till. My mum explained she needed to collect her prescription after her morning doctors appointment, the woman on the till asked how my mum got her prescription. When my mum was answering the question the woman rudely interrupted and re asked the question to my mum. When she finally let my mum answer, she bluntly told her the waiting time.This member of staff did not even listen to my mother as when my mum returned to collect the prescription, it was the wrong one!! The staff member then blamed my mum for the mistake, and mum had to wait another 30 mins. I?m pushing my mum to change pharmacy now as she?s told me that seeing this rude member of staff on the till puts her off collecting her prescriptions.

Poor customer service from this Boots Pharmacy and sadly not just a one-off occasion. Specific staff are just not pleasant. Will be getting the Doctor to send my prescriptions elsewhere.

Absolutely terrible service. Lady with the grey frizzy hair has a serious attitude problem and is the reason why I?ll be going elsewhere. Also incredibly rude to elderly people for absolutely no reason at all.

Ordered my prescription a week and a half in advance, went to pick it up and was told it had only been sent this morning. The extremely rude lady behind the counter snapped at me when I pointed out I had ordered it over a week and a half ago, and was very rude - telling me it was my fault for not ordering it in time. I cannot miss a dose of this medication so had to go round 7 other pharmacies (which took a long time) with my paper prescription to check if they had it. Thank god Andover pharmacy were so accommodating. One of the other pharmacies pointed out that it said on my script the medication had actually been sent four days ago, meaning the extremely rude lady had not only lied, but had been horrible for no reason. I will never return here, the staff are just too unfriendly
