I'd been before and thought it wasn't great. It was so bad I was astonished. We went for breakfast and ok it's cheap and you get what you pay for, but have to wait for your tea cause we don't have enough cups? Served a few pale chips instead of 3 hash browns, and don't mention you've swapped them out? Less toast, an eye roll when we asked for all the toast we'd paid for and then burnt toast? It was my worst food experience in the UK.

Great pub. Chatty locals and staff, sports . Good pint and good prices. Clean and tidy. Well worth a visit if staying in area.
