Really worth the wait, the food was absolutely lovely!My son had the sirloin steak and he said it was really tasty.My daughter had the double egg and chips and I had the chicken mayo baguette which was awesome!Nice and quiet too x

Poor service standards - took ages to find someone then couldn?t provide advertised drinks so went elsewhere. It does look as though it?s a pub with potential - seemed nice enough inside and is very well located. Maybe just a bad day?Nearby activities: Alton Town Centre is on the same road, whilst Kings Pond - a beautiful wildlife pond is just a short walk away.Walkability: It is in the heart of Alton - so easy to find, get to and from with respect of other features in the town

We booked Saturday lunchtime, and arrived at 7 to find the loudest disco ever going on The room bounced. We were told it would go on till between 12.30 and 1.00. When I asked how they could have sold me the room only hours before, knowing it was this loud, the manager said they ?weren?t really a hotel, but a pub that does parties?. She became rude when I asked for a refund and then messed about with the card machine telling me it wouldn?t work with my card. She was rude, the whole place tacky and unpleasant, an entirely awful experience.
