Nice open shop with lots of room between shelves. Sells just about anything you need.

Usually use the out of town in Basingstoke, but had to come to Alton today and I think the Halloween Tunnel is fablots of cobwebs, dark and spooky, complete with sound effects, and the shelves have been clipped into the units at crazy angles. A lot of thought and imagination has gone into this, unlike the boring display where I normally shop (the Kempshott branch).

I'm not generally a fan of Sainsbury's mainly due to expense but this is the best supermarket in Alton. It is not too large and during week days is relatively quiet so easy to get around. They have recently added more parking too.

This is a great branch. Its well run and you never have shelf stackers blocking the aisles during the day, making it impossible for you to get your trolley round. The store is well run, quite large and has a small clothes department too. Its an easy walk from the bustling market town of Alton and is a modern, friendly store.
