“Extremely good menus and food.Our strollers group of 18 persons was catered for efficiently and swiftly, although one of the group got more than they ordered in their salad (a caterpillar).Lovely garden where my wife and I ate our meal because it was very hot inside on one of the hottest days of 2023. This is a Fullers pub so not much choice of ales, but the Seafarers ale went down well.”

“Stayed at this travel lodge with my 7 month old son, husband and sister as we were going to a family wedding.Our room was more than adequate for our stay, was clean and staff were friendly and helpful, I rang ahead of time and asked if a travel cot would be available for our room and they'd set it up with all clean bedding for when we arrived.Tea and coffee making facilities perfectly fine and room even had a TV which was a bonus for the evenings.Rooms: Rooms are large, have a TV, a kettle, plenty of space to store luggage and clothes.Also have a good size family bathroom with bath and showerFood & drinks: No canteen or food facilities on site.Except for a vending machine and a cold breakfast package available from reception.But tesco, coop and a few cafés are just up the road so plenty of places to get food nearby”
