“Lovely book shop , I do like Waterstones. And was not disappointed with the one here in Alton. I would say one of my favourite shops here. Good range of books for me to buy for myself and my 15 year old. Revision for School, and just for general reading, which I do encourage strongly especially nowadays with all the technology. And got a snazzy bookmark aswell for us both. #LOL ??? would definitely Recommend here.”

We have had a total refresh, the store has spacious aisles, plenty of room to get around without knocking things off the tables. Gifts available for all ages, all at affordable price, art supplies, craft supplies, books, toys.......the list goes on!We look forward to greeting you, with a friendly 'hello' and helping you find everything you need.”

“Good selection of magazines, books, maps, stationary, cards, newspapers etc. Open 7 days a week. There is a post office in the store which also opens 7 days a week though post office does close at 2.00pm Sundays. The only downside Smith's prices can on some items be expensive unless you opt for their 2 for 3 offers! Preferably would rather shop elsewhere where I can get good prices without having to multi buy!”
