Our return visit here after a lovely Riverside walk. The staff are so friendly and the food delicious. We sat in the garden, which was very unusual and fun.

Lovely, atmospheric pub. Good selection of beer and a decent menu. Our food was very good, although portion size could have been bigger for the price. Plenty of free parking outside in the evening, but it is limited during certain times. Highly recommended. We'll be back, thank you.

Just been for Sunday lunch ( father's day treat ) was lovely tbh staff were very friendly we did book in advance as it does get busy with locals very popular tbh it is disabled friendly toilets at the rear of the pub.

Having spent the day at Hinton Ampner we thought it would be nice to visit New Alresford. Called in at the Horse & Groom for a pint of London Pride and Lamb Kofta - both very tasty, staff friendly and helpful. Brilliant ?
