Great service, really attentive. Lovely old pub with big garden on the water's edge. Had the pinot noir with beef and the pork roast. Lots of veg.

Food as good, waitress was very dour, we sat by the lake which was nice, but no car park, so had to park up the road, where we only had 2 hours! Not good!!!

Fantastc gem.
We were visiting the area for one night & wanted a pub with live music.
The singer on Sat eve was great & covered some great songs.
The garden overlooks a pool with many swans & ducks. Its stunning.
We didnt eat but the food looked amazing.
Would highly recommend.

Great little pub, just outside of Alresford High Street. Lovely garden setting and excellent food and service.

We visited friends who were staying nearby. Had a lovely walk to the pub, that doesn't have a car park, but has a lake! Very pretty location, friendly staff (the fact that they were super busy didn't stop them being courteous and friendly) and delicious food. We all had the pie of the day, chicken and leek, but all of the food we saw looked outstanding. A lovely inclusion in the menu is the use of local watercress in their menu. We walked past fields of watercress and had hoped this was reflected in the menu. Our pies were yummy and we'd all happily return.

Visited a couple of times during a weekend stay nearby. Friendly, helpful staff. Good choice of drinks, especially beers. We sat in the garden and had a couple of drinks, soaking up the lovely view across the lake. The second time we visited, we found a 70th birthday celebration taking place and there were lots of children running around having a wonderful time in the sunshine. Didn't have any food but what we saw being delivered to nearby tables looked delicious. We will not hesitate to visit this pub again next time we are in Alresford.

Beautiful old pub set by the lake; very good quality, honest pub food; the most outstanding service from the waitresses - they are all remarkably friendly and attentive. Only negative was the loud radio in the garden but they did turn it down - so much nicer to hear the various birdlife there and the low chatter of friends on a warm bank holiday! We'll definitely be back it was a treat.

Fantastic proper pub with a good beer choice and proper good pub food. The home made Steak and Guinness pie was excellent.

Great pub amazing setting the garden is beautiful overlooking the lake
We stopped by last night and it didn't disappoint it wad extremely busy but the staff were very attentive and the food was all delicious
