We went to the fox yesterday after a walk in the countryside nearby. Everything was perfect nice drinks food amazing and prompt service at a very reasonable price for these times.We look forward to a return visit sometime in the future ?

Just returned from a Sunday lunch meet up, catch up with friends.

Friendly attentive staff, good atmosphere, reasonable priced, the food was absolutely delicious, fantastic !! Would definitely come back again.

The Fox: A Warm & Welcoming Gem!
We had a truly lovely family lunch at The Fox. The crackling open fire instantly made us feel at home, creating a wonderfully cosy atmosphere.
The staff were exceptional ? so kind, helpful, and attentive. My gammon, egg, and chips was cooked to perfection, and my partner raved about the delicious IPA. Even the kids' sausage, chips, and beans was a generous and tasty portion. Highly recommend for a delicious meal, friendly service, and a truly welcoming pub experience.

Just finished a fantastic Sunday lunch here. We had the roast pork and the sausages & mash (on special). My Roast pork was one of the best I've ever had, (my only criticism is that there could have been more of it) the roast potatoes were lovely and crispy and fluffy inside, all accompanied with a superb veg selection of steamed savoy cabbage, carrot and swede mash, broccoli and red cabbage. The gravy that came with it seemed to be specifically pork gravy and was delicious. I asked for stuffing with the pork and extra gravy. Nothing was too much trouble and I will definitely be going back again even tho it's 25 minutes drive, it is well worth it. 5 stars without hesitation!

The Fox Inn at Bramdean is a real gem of a pub and a rare find these days. The building originates from the 17th century and is Grade II listed. By not being overly modernised, it has retained a genuine old pub atmosphere and it is all the better for it in my view. I had Chicken Supreme from the lunch menu and it was excellent. The highlight was the chicken leg, which was cooked perfectly, so that it was still moist and tender; the cream sauce, with mushrooms and wilted spinach was well seasoned. Service was equally good with pleasant and friendly staff. It's a bit out of the way but easy to get to and definitely worth taking a trip out to visit. Highly recommended.

Lovely traditional pub, good parking facilities. Food good, not exceptional, service friendly and efficient. Reason for poor rating.....had looked up on TripAdvisor and been advised that it was wheelchair friendly.....which it was not. My wife is wheelchair bound and if another customer hadn't helped us we would still be there

Stopped for lunch after a walk.
Great service. Steak sandwich and chicken wrap were delicious. Good beer. And reasonable prices.
Pub was very comfortable, and beer garden looked good.

We were a large group who turned up at short notice and could not have received better service. Children, dogs and hungry adults - all made very welcome. Friendly, super efficient and great food. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Super country pub with lovely homecooked food and top class service. Just down the road from Hinton Ampner. I can't rate the rooms as I didn't stay.
