Really pricey shop. Considering there are alot of older people in the area, there should be a shop the caters for someone on a budget. Coffee machine keeps running out of milk. Just needs to be checked every morning. .Bakery never has anything in it (7:30 am ). Other coops manage it.People park in the disabled space outside, clearly not disabled..Staff are always friendly.. ?I would recommend this coop.

Shop is reasonable, but the prices are ridiculous. Didn't buy half of what I needed since the prices were so high

I always enjoy shopping at the Co-op, good range of products, and perhaps one or two surprise items unique to them. Fresh food second to none (Co-op strawberries are specially nice). As for the Alresford store, parking is on the street but the shop is surprisingly much bigger than the frontage suggests. Well worth a visit, and maybe good enough for a full shop.

Do you want to get mugged? No, then don?t shop here.Price are a joke as one of many examples:£3 for a large bag of crisps up from £2.50 last week 20% increase (it?s also 50% more than competitors charge) that?s greed not inflation, majority of customers are elderly so it?s just them taking advantage. Unless you are starving avoid.

Nice and spacious with the added convenience of a post office. Good selection of items, but some empty shelves on a regular basis.

Rip off prices
March 2023 by OK cambridge
Absolute rip off prices, sometimes more than double other shops for the identical product. Usually very messy and poorly supervised. Staff are lovely and seem sincere and always friendly. Post office opening hours unreliable. In short, terrible management and insulting prices. I want to support the coop but they make it impossible!

A good section of fair priced products

Helpful staff but the store needs maintaining properly, very messy shelves, stock in the aisles causing obsticles. Tesco around the corner seems better supervised

Good selection and service, but prices are higher than competitors.

Good range of products and pleasant staff. Steer clear of the coffee machine though- even Baldrick made a more appealing coffee!

I dont get the negative reviews on here. Why people complain about the pricing of the products at this co-op but not at the price of coffee up the road is beyond me. Alresford is one of the most expensive places to live in the country and due to this they list a range of products that you wont find in other stores (like the 750ml cold pressed apple juice for £3 which someone else complained about).I myself live out of town but when I visit I'm always happy with the quality and range of their goods. The staff are always friendly and in good moods, and I rarely find things out of stock. The Alresford Co-op has always been consistent and while not exceptional, it is good enough for me.
