Super restaurant for a curry with a difference. Very friendly staff, great service and most welcoming. All our meals (six of us) were very good indeed; tasty, well cooked and to generous portions. Very happy to recommend and highly likely to return.

Johney Gurkha has become one of mine and my partner?s firm favourites. Amazing variety in the menu with always something new to try, the cobra lager is delicious. Staff always friendly, attentive and happy to recommend dishes.

Table booked 6:30. Put us on a table and wouldnt serve us drinks until we got to our actual table that loooked free all that time. 25 minutes later, sat at our actual table and angie (waitress) ignored our request for compensation with absolute distain regardless of us being regulars. Wont go back. Best service we have had in recent times is when angie wasnt working so says where the issue is!

This is an absolutely fantastic place for friends, family or date nights.It's always buzzing and busy and the service from Ange and her family team is fantastic and they make you feel very welcome and special.The food is incredible and it has a wide variety of perfectly cooked cuisine from classic Indian dishes to some creative and tasty Nepalese dishes if you fancy something a little different.There is a fantastic atmosphere and I certainly suggest calling and booking as they do get busy. They even have a beautiful fish tank in the restaurant which is bright and colourful.I have been here twice now and both occasions have been really special thanks to the team being so warm and brilliantly professional.If you haven't tried it, please do as it's a real gem of a restaurant and I can't praise them enough. It's my new favourite place to eat as I want to try something different on each visit.Massive 5* from me.

We had a good curry night here. The food was good and as expected. Nothing spectacular but standard fare. The restaurant is downstairs and has a very tired decor. For ref, they have draft cobra on tap.
