UPDATE...Three weeks ago a disabled family member (with blindness) went to this branch to order a new bank debit card as his had developed a fault and no longer worked. The female assistant, I think similar to the person described by others, proudly informed him she had ordered another replacement card and not to worry. After 2 weeks he returned to discover why he hadn't received his new bank card and was told by another member of staff that NO CARD HAD BEEN ORDERED FROM THAT BRANCH WHATSOEVER. We then went to another Lloyds Branch to discover what has happened. The assistant there realised the later card has been sent to a completely different address. The family member has no association with what so ever and never has. How can reputable bank dispatch a new debit card to a long term customer to an address that is completely wrong?! He receives paper statements from them all the time! I cant tell if this is a problem with the Aldershot branch or Lloyds in general. Bizarre.

I had a really uncomfortable experience at this branch. I went in just to take out some cash, but couldn?t help noticing how loudly the staff were speaking to customers. It wasn?t just slightly raised voices ? they were practically shouting across the room. I completely understand if someone has hearing difficulties, but this wasn?t the case here. One staff member in particular, a Nepalese lady, was especially loud and quite abrupt in her tone. It came across as rude rather than helpful, and honestly made the environment feel tense and unwelcoming.Lloyds needs to work on improving customer service and making sure their staff speak to people with more respect and professionalism. Not a pleasant visit, and I?ll be thinking twice before coming back

Poor customer service and Nepalese female (mole on face) was very rude. She was shouting the whole time, she could have explained my husband nicely and politely. She even told my husband to change the bank. We will never go back there again.

Good handy bank in the centre of town. Friendly and helpful staff that provide a decent service. With banks closing left right and centre, this one is a godsend.

Very rude female member of staff, no manners. I was barked at by her when I had a quick query, which as I suspected couldn?t be dealt with at the counter. No wonder the high street bank is in decline. Customer service ZERO?..

Lloyds Bank - HOW DIFFICULT accessing your money. My account is business, I had requested to send a replacement card to be sent to the registered address, that was over a month already. Unluckily, I had aneurysm and still in the hospital as of this complaint. My representative visited the Aldershot branch and the lady could not even access the account after giving th e name, sort code and bank acct and later on told us that we need to call the business group. I was already in the phone for any verification. I did ask the lady ?what would it take for me to have access to my money given the circumstance?? I even suggested to fill the widthrawal form so it can be sent to me here in the hospital, I will sign etc and include my passport etc.. she said it doesn?t work that way. As I was desperate, I said we can take 10 widthrawal forms and come back each day and she replied it doesn?t work that way. There should be an in-place system in such situation but Lloyd?s Bank had none! I have issues with blood pressure and talking to the lady was a waste of time.So, your client is in the hospital, available on call with camera with available valid identity, how can you make things happen? I thought that Lloyd?s Bank is a good bank, with this experience, you showed how extremely difficult to access your clients? funding. Once I get well, I will close my account with you and I will continue to be an ambassador on how a bank like you makes it sooo difficult to access your clients? money.
