I loved Himalayan Java Cafe, it is where we Nepalese locals gather and share our stories of the day and raise our cups to our homeland Nepal. We got to enjoy our little Nepalese culture together, and felt like we were back at home, we got to experience little Nepal, however, the owner's new policy to ban Nepalese songs from playing in the cafe took me by surprise, and my friends and countless ex Gurkhas veteran. The way the owner treats the most loyal customers of the cafe and our Nepali culture, we decided to move to the next Nepali cafe around the corner. While at it, may he also remove the ?Himalayan? from the name. Loved the service, staff, and atmosphere but the owner is lost cause.

Been there to taste Himalayan coffee last week. Test-wise satisfied, but found there is a need of outlet decoration which is hardly appealing and training to customers service to its staffs (while I visited staff was on the phone and paused to take our orders and carried on talking).
