We had a takeaway. Food was really nice however I do feel that certain items are very over priced. over £8 for a starter and poppadoms £1.80 each compared to £0.75 at any other takeaways.

Haven't had a takeaway from here for a few years but was very disappointed with the food nothing liked it used to be so will not use again. So very disappointed!!!

Been twice in May and can honestly say this will be our local dine in Indian restaurant going forward.
Both food and service are excellent.
First visit we ordered popadoms, 1 x rice, 1 x bread, 2 x chef specials curries and 2 sides. Very tasty and good portions.
Second visit we went for popadoms to start and a Thali each. 10/10 would recommend this to any diner, excellent price and you will not leave hungry!
Thali?s are advertised as being offered on certain days (Sunday, Monday & Wednesday I think) but we went on a quiet Friday and they said we could order.
Both visits we?ve spent £20-£30 each including a beer or two.

We just had an excellent dining experience at the Bengal Lancer! The waitress and manager were attentive, warm and welcoming. Food was amazing. With a good choice of food and drink, I'd highly recommend this lovely restaurant if you are looking for dinner out in Hampshire.

Food was okay. Service was super slow considering we was the only ones in there. We waited around 15 mins for the first drinks order to be placed. Staff was nice and smiley and super friendly.

Booked a table on Wednesday for Saturday online and got a confirmation email to say it had gone through . I get a missed phone call yesterday from them and I called them back to see what was the problem they claimed they didn't phone me . I just phoned them to add another person to booking . Now they said they phoned yesterday to say it was fully booked and they had no idea of my booking . Had a full blown argument down the phone . Used to go there all the time . Unfortunately after this I shall not be returning. BRING BACK THE OLD OWNERS . NEW OWNERS ARE RUDE .
