Standish Medical Practice does not work anymore I am so glad I changed Doctors a little while ago even the GP app is switched to palutive and baby care only!!!!! Recently a great Doctor gas left staff / receptionists are very rude and don't listen. Much improvement is needed now !!!

This review is purely to thank Dr Forester and Dr Desai for their prompt action. Arranging the tests and the admission to hospital to access the relevant treatment required. Dr Forester for Arranging the tests and Dr Desai for acting promptly on the results. Arrangeing emergency transportation from the surgery to A&E to receive the necessary treatment. If not for these two doctors things could have been much worse.

Very happy with my visit From start to finish on 3/11/23 at 4pm, the lady on reception was so lovely, welcoming & made me feel at ease, lovely happy person, I think her name was Diane. The doctor who i saw was Dr.Atherton she was wonderful, couldnt do enough to help me with my problems, Such a nice Doctor. Both people a big credit to standish medical practice. Thank you so much.

Yesterday I txt for app preferably either Yesterday or today. I have really bad pain in my neck and going into my head. The reply I got back was yes I need a face to face with Dr also said when I was available. Could be 3 to 4 weeks but try to get app within 10 days.To me that is to long to wait. So I txt this morning and asked for appointment but nobody's got back to me. I don't mind going to Alliance if referred as I'm not sleeping well due to the pain. I'm not happy with this system on getting seen by a Doctor.

I cannot fault this practice, I used My GP was followed up quickly and a face to face appointment same day.Staff helpful and friendly.

After fracturing my foot I requested a sick note for my employer, I did this through ask mygp app oh my days. One of the partners completed without hesitation next time had to request again other practise partner gave me run around saying being completed next day rang 2 times receptionist said it will be done today and confirmed he had read the request and by end of day still not done, surely aint that difficult to process its a complete joke

We moved to Standish last year and my son has been having tonsillitis every 2 weeks.Every time I rang the surgery they always gave me same day appointment within a couple of hours.We couldn?t be happier.

I have been using the online service with little to no responce for over a month. I had correspondence from my request, yet the practice has stated that i didn't reply.I dont know what has happend to face to face comuication, but when you do speak to them, they send you back to using the app.This is not the first time this has happend, and i have never had this level of poor service at my previous gp practice.I am happy to further discuss with the practice manager as a way of giving constructive feed back.

The time it takes to get an appointment is absurd. Over 2 weeks just to have a repeat prescription request reviewed. I used to think highly of this practice, but it's completely gone down the drain.

Very difficult to get an appointment , and if you do get offered one it will be weeks away with a different doctor . No continuity of care what so ever. I couldn?t imagine having an elderly or sick relative under there care Very disappointed

very difficult to get an appointment, you are not allowed to ring after 1030am to ask to book appointment for the future. They direct you to ask myGP online which is always offline. Terrible service overall. Another place that the service has been terrible since covid began and they make no effort to help or offer practical solutions
