been here twice recently and it seems to be particularly hard work to purchase stuff (and I have the item codes), the stores appear to have high staff turnover so it might be better in a few months, i'll be using another branch if I can.

Went in with a flexi-pipe I needed assistance with and was simply pointed to the order pads, I needed assistance nit a catalogue, absolutely useless.

My husband who is 88 called there today wanting a part for a tap he took the part with him but the assistant was not helpful he said there were lots of parts upstairs but were every were so he could not help him we are not plumbers so what more could we do the tap is only a year old so now we don't no what to do

I went screw fix yesterday with my wife. I have to use a wheelchair and couldn't see the I-pads as they are set too high up for disabled people in a wheelchair or any other people around that height . At the counter my wife did mention this to an assistant who said "yes I did notice he was struggling to see." Another chap piped up "To be fair you should of just asked us to take the pad of the stand for you". To be fair screw fix and any other stores . It's hard enough being disabled we don't want to shout it from the roof tops. Simply lower a couple of pads and accommodate disabled people. Easy problem solved to be fair.
