I was prescribed medicine that was a private prescription a lot of pharmacies can be difficult when it comes to privately prescribed prescriptions, but the team there handled it perfectly. “This is a very good very helpful very very busy little chemists shop the people are always worked off their feet the problem is the shape an set up of the place, we think they don't see us when most of the time they do it's just their all doing orders in the back part that you see when you go further in the shop, the only thing is a bell would be handy so the customer knows the staff know your there”

“I went into get my baby a dummy as we had lost the last one. My baby was very upset, the lady on the till was so kind and reassuring and served me before the other customer and even cut the dummy out of the packaging for me so I could give it to the baby as quickly as possible. “Disappointing service today. The main item on my prescription wasnt in stock yesterday and I was told it would be ordered yesterday and ready for collection this morning. But the assistant forgot to order it so it wasn't there to collect.I am going on holiday tomorrow so am without the medication I need.Other people waiting were leaving empty handed and Ive noticed this happens quite a bit.They dont carry enough stock and the staff aren't good enough.The system of storage and collection is shambolic. If you go to Tesco pharmacy for example made up prescriptions arein pigeon holes marked clearly with an alpa numeric reference.Here, the staff are constantly searching through innumerable boxes, some located on the floor, looking for your order.Unless things improve they are going to lose custom!MH”

“Busy pharmacy but very friendly and quick service. Saw the pharmacist who was very knowledgeable and though he couldn’t help, he gave clear instructions on what I needed to do and I was able to follow this and get a prescription and return later. It was closed between 1-2pm so maybe avoid then.”

“I was in the store on Sunday 20 Nov with my three boys. My eldest who is Autistic and has other conditions had a massive meltdown. The staff off th security desk where sol helpful, reassuring and nice and another member of staff took my younger boys so I didn't have to worry about them as well. The staff were amazing!!”

“A small, busy local chemist that know who you are when you walk through the door. They work very very hard under difficult circumstances.

They deal with a multitude of different people in an obviously pressured environment, in respect to the area that they serve. People have to remember that instant service is not always possible, when items need to be checked and verified - we don't want the wrong drugs to be given out, so patience is needed!

I feel sorry for the people who work there when customers shout and complain (which I have been witness to on many occasion) when items are not available. It is not their fault!! They don't stock every drug in the world. It depends if the central system has it available and then it has to be transported to them. They have no power or control over this.

We need to look after these service providers, as you will only realise how valuable they are when they have disappeared and then you have to go miles further to an even busier establishment because they have had to take over the shortfall.
