After my miserable experience with management before Christmas I met an employee called CAV who fixed both my punctures and with an expert knowledge of my bike and how it works and how to prevent future punctures in the future he upselled me on further puncture insurance and the importance of having slime in your wheel and how it worked and how cost effective it would benefit me in the long run.With the knowledge he has and the customer relationships he has proven I believe he is wasted in his position and should be considered for a position in operational delivery in management within your company.

Went to this store to buy headlight cleaner , I stood by the unmanned till waiting to be served, gave up after a few minutes walked through the store looking for staff no one available, put the cleaner back and left .

If I could leave a 0 star review I would, this has been my second bad experience at this establishment. The first time I visited was to install a dash cam in my car, a few weeks later I noticed one side of my speakers were no longer working as when installing they had pulled all the wires out that were connected to my screen, this cost me £90 to fix and when I returned to Halfords to inform them of this I was told shockingly the man who installed the dash cam no longer worked for Halfords nor could they give me any compensation for their mistakeNow for today, as Christmas is coming up I decided to save up and buy a Carrara bike limited edition on the Black Friday sale for my boyfriend as I drive a small car I would not have been able to fit the bike into my car so I brought my mum to drive me back, when I entered I myself went to the front desk and told the woman I was here to collect my bike. The entire time this woman named Gemma only spoke to my mum about the bike and also only spoke to my mum about the price of my bike saying ?your lucky to have gotten a Carrara for this price? whilst completely ignoring me and went on to explain everything about the bike to my mum once again completely ignoring me. I feel completely disrespected and looked down upon, yes I am 19 but unless this has changed that makes me an adult who also works full time and pays everything herself with no help, I am the one who saved her wages, I am the one who did the research on the bike, I am the one who?s name is on every receipt and card yet because of my age and look this woman thought it would be acceptable after the many times myself and my mum said it was me who bought the bike decided to hold herself with little to no respect nor customer service, I am applaud by the service I have received and will never be returning again the complete and utter disrespect for a customer is unacceptable. I expect to see some sort of reprimand for this staff member

Went for car oil!! Had a brilliant comprehensive check on everything under the bonnet and tires and all my lights checked!! The young woman on checkout was lovely and the guy who did the check was so professional and polite!! To to it off everything was FREE.Many thanksAmazing job drove home extremely happy

Purchased a Nextbase Dashcam and got it fitted to my whip on 4/11/23 @ 10.00am, absolute quality fitting, professional and friendly fitter, store staff too are quality guys. Highly recommended by myself and very very pleased with price and fitting, Thanks Gents, Andy T

I don?t want to mark the service down because overall it was beltin. I wish the other bloke who could not sort something else out would not have taken over. The bloke I was originally dealing with was extremely polite and very helpful and handled my concerns and complaints very quickly and nicely. He started and finished dealing with me and my car and helped put some heavy shopping in my car as well as other jobs I?ve paid for. I will tell my friends and family about my experience tonight.

I have been using the Halfords store in Wigan since it opened in Gower St around thirty years ago. I used to go to the small shop on Market St in the town centre before that. I dread to thing how much money I have spent over the years on bikes, tools, tool cabinets, welders, pressure washers, service parts, car cleaning products etc.However today was the last time I will set foot through the door. I will pend my money elsewhere in future even though I have a trade card.I am somewhat OCD when it comes to looking after and cleaning my cars so amongst everything else I recently purchased a Meguiers Bucket complete with grit guard etc. I also use different sponges for different parts of the car that's how OCD I am.Yesterday when cleaning my car I picked up the bucket and to my disappointment the handle came off in my hand. I found that the bucket had fractured and piece come away where the handle attaches.I took it back to Wigan this morning not expecting any issue in having it replaced especially as over the years I have got to know some of the staff well.How wrong I was. A total refusal to do anything without a receipt. Who keeps a receipt for a bucket ? Apparently 'I could have bought it anywhere, not just Halfords sell Meguiers products'.All the staff member was interested in was hiding behind 'Company Policy'.Even though these Meguires buckets are quite expensive for what they are I will buy my replacement from Amazon. Halfords have lost my custom for good over a £13.50 product.It's also worth mentioning that Halfords are selective over product reviews and only publish the ones they want to on their website.I received an email letting me know that my honest review of the product had been denied publication.

Booked a diagnostic in for today (Monday 02.10.23) for 8:30, on the site it told me to bring it 10 minutes before, dropped of keys and told to come back 2.5 hours later, when I did my car still hadn?t been taken in which is a joke considering it was booked in for 8:30 and 11:30am it still hadn?t been done, and they said they would have it in next, 20 minutes later and it somehow complete a full check, what I am extremely angry about is my car was immaculate before going in here, when I got it back there were two scuffs to the back corners which weren?t there before where someone has obviously been very careless with my car. I noticed these straight away and took pictures before the car went in. This garage obviously wouldn?t have taken responsibility for this and now I will have to pay out of my own pocket to have the scratches sprayed. Waste of £50 and now it will cost me out of my own pocket.
