I visited both the Aintree and Wigan branches for an inner tube replacement while using a wheelchair. Unfortunately, both stores advised they were short-staffed, with at least a 30?40 minute wait. I found the experience not very accommodating for someone with accessibility needs. I have given two stars only as a gesture, due to the good service I?ve received from Aintree in the past, but on this occasion it was disappointing.

Disabled parking right by door of both the garage and store. We were picking up an order so didn't go around the store but everything looked how you would expect. The young man who helped us was very friendly and professional greeted us straight away and collected our order from the back. As no other customers needed help or serving we even had a little chat and left him with an even bigger grin.

Went to halfords wigan today got myself some products to clean car , got new wiper purchased the fitted by the team there. Problem was I also wanted some touch up paint to match , there words to me when I asked where check vin number then go and look in book for a match which isn't a simple process by the way , so after about 10 mins of looking for a match with no result I went to ask at counter for help and the answer wasn't what I was expecting. The answer i got was that I was better off going down the road to another autobody shop which was annoying due to me already buying products from there which cost me £87 I am still without paint because the other shop was closed. Halfords are good to buy products from but not so good at helping customers find right paint

A special mention to Chris, helping me today with his amazing knowledge about bikes! He was so helpful and and friendly, truly made my day! The atmosphere in the store is relaxed and people are very knowledgeable and professional, it felt more like a small business with people who care, than a big national chain.
