I?ve just made the mistake of giving Greenhalgh?s another chance, and I won?t be making that error again. I popped in for a steak and ale pie, expecting a warm, hearty bite, only to be handed something stone cold. Completely inedible. What kind of bakery serves up cold pies straight from the counter?
This isn?t my first disappointment here either. Previously, I felt utterly ripped off paying £1.85 for a Pepsi?outrageous pricing for what is essentially a corner shop soft drink. And let?s not even talk about the pasty I once bought; it was just a lump of stodge, dense, flavourless, and thoroughly unpleasant.
To top it off, the service is slow, lacking any sense of urgency or customer care. It?s as if they know the food is subpar and are in no rush to serve it.
Lesson learned?Greenhalgh?s is all hype, no quality. I won?t be back, and I?d strongly suggest anyone looking for a decent bakery to take their money elsewhere.

I've ordered pea an ham soup when I opened it I was shocked as it wasn't soup but just thick peas with ham in an it wasn't nice never again shouldn't be advertised as soup when it's thick peas no soup at all

The products are very good with the ideal ration of pastry to filling in their baked goods. Their chunky beef soup is very much appreciated by my husband, which saves him bothering to cook. It tastes home made?..he says.
When they offer free delivery?bonus! It?s always well packaged, fresh, and arrives when they say it will.
I haven?t tried their cakes?yet. I intend to!
