On 10/1/2025 used post office for first time sending a parcel with tracking..
I am now in the process of trying to find my parcel as recipient didn?t except as no return address on it ( my fault) ..
I have been back an forth with Royal Mail to be told my parcel was sent standard not tracked as requested.And is now possibly on route to Belfast ?..The young lady who served me was lovely and polite but was struggling and after a few attempts to do this for me she assured me it was tracked..
I am in no way blaming this young lady as she did state she had had training but it was several months before and wasn?t very confident..
So I probably won?t use the spar post office again but to the management I would suggest you get staff more updated training and then speak to them and make sure they are confident in doing the office side of it and support them through out

3 times now I've bought milk and it's gone off before it's use by date.

Most of the workers friendly and kind but today 25th June, 21:28 been in there and see new young lady behind the till and said hi two time she didn?t answered and she didn?t say how much and how I like to pay!
After I paid she didn?t say thanks or bye
Is first time I saw someone being rude and racist to me

So many Spars in Bury, especially the ones in petrol stations, have terrible reviews. This Spar standalone is fantastic! Not only is the shop clean and tidy. The staff are so nice and helpful. Big thumbs up from me 5*

I've been a regular customer of this spar since it opened. I spend hundreds if not thousands per year in there . I live very close to it . I went in recently in December 22 with an electricity voucher on email given by the government to help reduce the cost of the energy supply. The voucher supplied by paypoint on behalf of Scottish Power was to top up my electric meter. It was a freezing cold evening. Well below zero. The staff Inc the manager wouldn't accept it saying there's too many scammers going about. When I asked what I should do they said I should go to the co op with it . The voucher wasn't a scam it was legitimate and even if it was a scam it wouldn't affect spar in any way , it would only affect paypoint or the government. Yet they was happy to turn me away telling me to use the co op with a voucher they assumed could possibly be a fake. The co op had the same paypoint machines and said they'd had no problems with any of the vouchers. And not accepting my voucher didn't make sense. So from now on if the spar is willing to turn a regular customer away sending me to the co op then from now on I will walk past the spar and stick with the co op . Also the staff at spar who refused to let me top up have actually worked at the spar less than 6months , there seems to be a high turnover of staff at the spar , where as at the co op they've had the same very friendly and helpful staff for at least 5yrs one of them is a neighbour of mine who walks past my house every day going to work at the co op.

There is parking just outside the SPAR. The SPAR is a larger one and will mostly likely have what you are looking for. The SPAR is a higher end supermarket. I enjoy the ship. It was clean, tidy, and organised, making it easy to navigate, with good customer service.

Generally good. Obviously carries a limited amount of goods for a smallish shop. Cash machine (ATM) outside and parking.
