Probably the most expensive shop I ever been in, Some products are almost double because they know there isn't much else around. Rip off. There is a Tesco that is a 2 minute walk away, that is far better

The online photos do not do just to how bad the place really is! After waiting for 15 minutes for a receptionist, a lady finally appeared to check us in. We took one look at our room & decided to find another place to stay. We returned later to drop off our room key - the reception area was in darkness but anyone could have accessed the place as there was no security. Not to be recommended!

Absolute Disgraceful!! Booked 1 night on Boxing Day. Turned up to total darkness and no sign of life. Tried the front door which was open and Found an envelope with a Room Key in it on the counter, tried the room ( number 6) and found 2 single beds, 2 small tatty towels, NO HEATING, smelly bathroom and DAMP ON THE WALLS ! All for £50 booked through Booking.com. It was so bad I was speechless !! Photographs were taken and supplied to Booking.com but as yet no comment or contact from them has happened, so not holding my breath!!

This place is freezing, damp and a mould infested nightmare. Water and heating is on a timer so at this time of year is a disgrace. ceiling was like a sheet of ice and was dripping on us, even over our beds in the night. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Unfortunately had to leave one star. Doesn?t deserve any in my opinion.

Absolutely disgusting, my partner got 2 electric shocks off the out dated appliances, asked the lady could I write it down in the accident report book she changed the subject. Mould everywhere. No hot water throughout the day. No toilet roll, cigarette burns in quilt. disgusting!

Check the pictures first, it doesn?t exist and the address is just a house who I can?t imagine would be selling nappies at 2 am

On our arrival we walked down a corridor that absolutely stank of weed. My 7 year old commented on it, and I had to say that I was sure our room would be fine, unfortunately it was not. We were due to go out, and so I tried to ignore the state of the room, however whilst we were getting changed I could hear the police banging on the next door room, demanding that they were let in. On leaving our room the officers were still there, again prompting questions from my daughter. At this point, had my daughter not been with me, I would have taken our bags and left. When we returned there was continuous noise throughout the night, and my daughter insisted on putting her suitcase against the door for security. The room was cold and draughty, despite having 2 heaters switched on. There were no blankets or additional bedding available. Although the room appeared clean, there was a disgusting patch behind the bathroom door, black mould on the walls- which I believe is poisonous, two of the bathroom floor tiles were lose and moved when walked on, and there were holes, dints and marks on all the walls. I also believe that the ceiling was covered with artex, and I highly doubt it has been tested for asbestos. All in all, it was an absolutely appalling stay, and has ruined what was supposed to be a special treat. The only good thing I have to say, is that the lady working on reception when we arrived was friendly and helpful., and at the time, agreed that the smell of weed was appalling. I took pictures of the room, and I intend to report the hotel to both the council and the council.

Was surprised on arrival that there was nobody around and just found my key in an envelope on reception. The room was very basic. Single bed was comfy and one pillow but was enough. Carpet was looking tired and could do with renewing, whole room could do with completing redecorating. Bathroom was basic, toilet, sink and bath with a shower attachment. Yet again this could do with redecorating. Price for 2 nights was £70 which for the quality of the room thought was a bit over priced. Facilities in room was good with tea, coffee and TV with hairdryer as well. Towels were provided. Can be a little noisy with the window open as it's near a main road, plus a garage forecourt next to it with a shop and Subway, however this didn't cause me any issues.

Booked this property as Premier Inns were all fully booked due to the bank holiday. Room was clean and tidy. Bed lovely and comfy. Little disappointed with only one tea cup and 2 saucers in room. Although well stocked with tea bags and coffee. Shower first night was lovely and hot and pressure good. However on 2nd day turned on the shower and was stone cold. Rang hotel number and went onto voice mail no one on reception. Had to boil kettle for a wash. Paid £110 for two nights stay no breakfast included. This is not a hotel but a motel. Doors locked at 11.30 and you have a key and a door code to get in. They have kareoke nights and evening entertainment and theres a 24 hour Spar Supermarket and a petrol station next door. Every time we arrived at the car park we sang the Crossroads theme tune! But only the oldies like us would remember the series
